The 2nd annual UKIDFF health camp took place in Bhimavaram on January 20, 2025
Under the leadership of Dr. Venu Kavarthapu and coordinated by Smt. Shyamala Uppalapati and Sai Praseedha Uppalapati, the camp brought together an elite team of diabetic foot specialists and doctors from the UK, UAE, and India. The Indian medical team included representatives from Apollo Hospital Jubilee Hills, led by Dr. Srinivas Seshabattaru; Dr. Varma group of hospitals in Bhimavaram, led by Dr. Varma; and Imperial Hospital in Bhimavaram, led by Dr. Naresh.
The camp provided comprehensive diabetic foot care services, including screenings, free medications, expert advice on foot protection, wound treatment, and ongoing wound care recommendations. This initiative aims not only to treat but also to raise awareness about diabetic foot complications, a growing concern in India and worldwide.
The event was graced by several distinguished guests who lent their support to this noble cause. Special guests included Dr. Srinivas from Apollo Hospitals; Dr. Vijay Papineni from Abu Dhabi; Bhupathi Raju Srinivasa Varma, Narasapuram MP; Pulaparthi Ramanjaneyulu, Bhimavaram MLA; Somu Veerraju, BJP Former State President; Katipally Venkata Ramana Reddy, Kamareddy MLA; Naga Rani, West Godavari Collector; Patsamatla Dharmaraju, Unguturu MLA; Seetha Mahalakshmi, Rajya Sabha MP; Arimilli Radha Krishna, Tanuku MLA; Koyye Moshenu Raju, MLC; T.D. భీమవరంలో సక్సెస్ ఫుల్ గా జరిగిన యుకెఐడిఎఫ్ఎఫ్ హెల్త్ క్యాంప్
యుకెఐడిఎఫ్ఎఫ్ రెండో వార్షిక హెల్త్ క్యాంప్ భీమవరంలో ఈ నెల 20న సక్సెస్ ఫుల్ గా జరిగింది. డిఎన్ఆర్ కళాశాలలో జరిగిన ఈ కార్యక్రమంలో 3 వేల మంది హాజరై చికిత్స పొందారు. ఈ హెల్త్ క్యాంప్ లో వైద్యులు డయాబెటిక్ ఫుట్ హెల్త్ పై అవగాహన, సంరక్షణ కోసం తీసుకోవాల్సిన జాగ్రత్తలను సూచించారు. ఈ హెల్త్ క్యాంప్ డాక్టర్ వేణు కవర్తపు సారథ్యంలో జరిగింది. స్వర్గీయ రెబెల్ స్టార్ కృష్ణంరాజు గారి సతీమణి శ్రీమతి శ్యామలా గారు, కూతురు సాయి ప్రసీద గారు ఈ కార్యక్రమాన్ని కోఆర్డినేట్ చేశారు. ఈ హెల్త్ క్యాంప్ లో మన దేశంతో పాటు యూకే, యూఏఈకి చెందిన డయాబెటిక్ ఫుట్ స్పెషలిస్టులు, అనుభవజ్ఞులైన వైద్యులు పాల్గొన్నారు. డాక్టర్ శ్రీనివాస్ శేషబట్టారు సారథ్యంలోని జుబ్లీహిల్స్ అపోలో హాస్పిటల్, డాక్టర్ వర్మ నేతృత్వంలోని భీమవరంలోని డాక్టర్ వర్మ గ్రూప్ ఆఫ్ హాస్పిటల్స్, డాక్టర్ నరేష్ సారథ్యంలోని భీమవరంలోని ఇంపీరియల్ హాస్పిటల్ ప్రతినిధులు ఈ హెల్త్ క్యాంప్ లో భాగస్వామ్యులు అయ్యారు.

శ్రీమతి శ్యామల ఉప్పలపాటి గారు మాట్లాడుతూ – రెండవ యుకెఐడిఎఫ్ఎఫ్ హెల్త్ క్యాంప్ సక్సెస్ కావడం ఎంతో సంతోషంగా ఉంది. పెద్ద సంఖ్యలో ప్రజలు మా ఆరోగ్య శిబిరంలో పాల్గొన్నారు. ఇలాంటి ఆరోగ్య శిబిరాలు ఎంత అవసరమో ప్రజల స్పందన తెలియజేస్తోంది. అందరికీ వైద్యం అందాలని స్వర్గీయ కృష్ణంరాజు గారు కోరుకునేవారు. ఆయన ఆశయానికి ప్రతిరూపమే ఈ వైద్య శిబిరం. ఈ హెల్త్ క్యాంప్ ను మరింతగా ముందుకు తీసుకెళ్తాం. అన్నారు.
సాయి ప్రసీద ఉప్పలపాటి గారు మాట్లాడుతూ – యుకెఐడిఎఫ్ఎఫ్ హెల్త్ క్యాంప్ ద్వారా మేము చేస్తున్న ప్రయత్నం ఎంతోమంది జీవితాల్లో మార్పు తీసుకురావడం సంతోషంగా ఉంది. మా వైద్య బృందం, ప్రజల సహకారంతో సక్సెస్ ఫుల్ గా క్యాంప్ నిర్వహించాం. డయాబెటిక్ పుట్ కేర్ అందరికీ అందుబాటులోకి తెచ్చేందుకు ఇలాంటి హెల్త్ క్యాంప్స్ మరిన్ని నిర్వహిస్తామన్నారు.
