Artists
Sri Harsha on debut did well in the role of a happy go lucky person. He showed good mannerisms and body language. Kashika Kapoor is ok in her role. SP.Charan came up with an impressive performance in the role of the father. The scenes featuring him and Sri Harsha came out well. Nawab Shah is good in the role of the antagonist.Praveen, Raghu Babu, Shakalaka Shankar’s comedy is just average. Chatrapthi Sekhar made his presence as Aghora. Others performed according to their roles.
Technicians
LYF (Love Your Father) story is by Pavan Ketharaju and with this film he made his debut as the director. He tried to showcase the father son bonding on the screen and in the process added few thrilling and mythological elements to the revenge drama. He came up with an interesting plot and tried to impress adding numerous elements like father son bonding, mythological, revenge and thrilling elements. Once again interest increases just before the interval and this sets the stage for the second half. Few twists in the second half workout well before the film ends on an emotional note. TDevarampati Ramakrishna with his editing could have trimmed many scenes to turn the screenplay racy. Cinematography of Shyam K Naidu is below average. He failed to beautify the film and give a rich feel. Mani Sharma’s music is ok and songs are situational. He added value to the narration with his background music. Dialogues are ok. Production values are good.
Verdict
Concept and SPCharan is the highlight for the movie. A little fine-tuning of the script would have added value to the final output. Altogether, LYF (Love Your Father) though got an interesting plot, fades out to become a routine emotional entertainer
