The film Santhana Prapthirasthu, starring Vikranth and Chandini Chowdary, is produced by Madhura Sreedhar Reddy and Nivi Hariprasad Reddy under the banners of Madhura Entertainment and Nirvi Arts. It is directed by Sanjeev Reddy, with the screenplay written by Sheikh Dawood G. The movie is set for a grand theatrical release on the 14th of this month.
Director and actor Tharun Bhascker plays a unique character named Jack Reddy in the film. Jack Reddy runs a funeral services business and is deeply attached to caste identity. His character is expected to entertain audiences. After watching the preview of Santhana Prapthirasthu, Tharun Bhascker praised the film, saying it turned out really well. He appreciated how the movie successfully combines humor and emotion while addressing the sensitive issue of infertility in society.
Tharun Bhascker said, “When I was acting in Santhana Prapthirasthu, I had a few doubts. But after watching the film, all my doubts disappeared. It’s a decent movie that flows smoothly with fun moments throughout. It gave me a similar feeling to watching Ayushmann Khurrana’s Bollywood films. Portraying the issue of infertility in an entertaining yet emotional way is quite challenging, and the Santhana Prapthirasthu team succeeded in doing that.
He added, “Watching the film gave me the same sense of satisfaction as eating a good home-cooked Telugu meal. The movie never felt heavy or overly dramatic – I just enjoyed it from start to finish. Characters like the one I played, Jack Reddy, exist in real life too. They may appear tough on the outside but are soft-hearted inside. The character even has potential for a spin-off.”

తరుణ్ భాస్కర్ మాట్లాడుతూ – “సంతాన ప్రాప్తిరస్తు” సినిమాలో నటిస్తున్నప్పుడు నాకు కొన్ని సందేహాలు ఉండేవి. కానీ మూవీ చూశాక నా అనుమానాలు అన్నీ ఎగిరిపోయాయి. ఇదొక డీసెంట్ మూవీ. సరదాగా అలా మూవీ అంతా వెళ్లిపోయింది. మనం బాలీవుడ్ లో ఆయుశ్మాన్ ఖురానా మూవీస్ చూస్తుంటాం. అలాంటి ఫీల్ కలిగింది. సొసైటీలో ఇప్పుడున్న సంతాన లేమి అనే సమస్యను ఎంటర్ టైనింగ్ గా, ఎమోషన్ గా చెప్పడం క్లిష్టమైన పని. “సంతాన ప్రాప్తిరస్తు” టీమ్ ఆ విషయంలో సక్సెస్ అయ్యారు. ఇంట్లో చేసిన మంచి తెలుగు మీల్స్ తిన్నప్పుడు ఎలాంటి తృప్తి ఉంటుందో, అలాంటి ఫీల్ ఈ సినిమా చూస్తున్నప్పుడు కలిగింది. సినిమా ఎక్కడా హెవీగా అనిపించలేదు, ఓవర్ డ్రామా లేదు, సరదాగా చూస్తూ వెళ్లాను. నేను చేసిన జాక్ రెడ్డి క్యారెక్టర్ లాంటి వాళ్లు బయట కనిపిస్తుంటారు. పైకి టఫ్ గా కనిపిస్తున్నారు గానీ వాళ్ల లోపల సాఫ్ట్ నెస్ ఉంటుంది. ఈ క్యారెక్టర్ కు స్పిన్నాఫ్ కూడా చేసుకోవచ్చు. డైరెక్టర్ సంజీవ్ రెడ్డి చాలా క్లారిటీతో ఈ సినిమాను రూపొందించాడు. చైతన్య క్యారెక్టర్ లో విక్రాంత్ పర్పెక్ట్ గా కుదిరాడు. కాస్టింగ్ అందరి నుంచి మంచి పర్ ఫార్మెన్స్ చూస్తారు. అలాగే టీమ్ అంతా హానెస్ట్ గా చేసిన వర్క్ స్క్రీన్ మీద కనిపిస్తుంది. ఈ నెల 14న “సంతాన ప్రాప్తిరస్తు” తప్పకుండా చూడండి. అన్నారు.
