Vijay Sethupathi showered praise on Puri.. Slum Dog Will Be Remembered As A Very Special Film

Dashing director Puri Jagannadh and versatile star Vijay Sethupathi’s highly anticipated pan-India action thriller Slum Dog has wrapped up its entire shoot, while the post-production work is in full swing in all languages. Carrying the gripping tagline 33 Temple Road, the film has already generated strong buzz with its title and first-look poster. It is jointly produced by Puri Jagannadh and Charmme Kaur under the Puri Connects banner, in association with JB Narayan Rao Kondrolla of JB Mohan Pictures.

Puri Jagannadh made his directorial debut with Power Star Pawan Kalyan’s blockbuster Badri, and now completes 26 years in the industry since the film’s release. On this occasion, Vijay Sethupathi showered praise on his director. Taking to social media, the actor wrote:

“What a journey it has been for this man  26 years in cinema is not just a milestone; it’s a legacy built with courage, conviction, and a fearless voice. Samyuktha plays the female lead opposite Vijay Sethupathi, while Tabu and Duniya Vijay Kumar appear in pivotal roles. Brahmaji and VTV Ganesh are also part of the prominent cast.

National Award-winning composer Harshavardhan Rameshwar, known for his intense background scores in Arjun Reddy and Animal, is scoring the music for Slum Dog.

The film is gearing up for a grand Pan-India release in five languages—Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi. The makers plan to kick off promotional activities after the Tamil Nadu elections conclude.
