#CULT Movie Worldwide Release On October 30

Mass Ka Das Vishwaksen is all set to explore uncharted territory with his ambitious film #CULT. The actor-filmmaker, who has consistently experimented with unconventional subjects, is taking complete charge of the project by writing its story and screenplay, besides directing it. Produced by Sandeep Kakarala under the Tarak Cinemas banner, the film is billed as India’s first authentic slasher thriller. Drawing inspiration from disturbing real-life incidents, #CULT promises a dark, intense, and edge-of-the-seat experience. The film has already created curiosity with its first glimpse, which offered a peek into its intriguing world and premise. The first single that presented the friendship was also well-received.
 
The makers today announced the film’s release date with a thrilling glimpse. #CULT is set to offer a first-of-its-kind cinematic experience in theatres from October 30. The release date glimpse once again offers a glimpse into the film’s intriguing premise, with Vishwaksen’s intense killing spree and rage making it a striking announcement video. The actor indeed plays a negative-shaded character for the first time, hinting at the darker world that awaits in the film. Ravi Basrur’s pulsating and intensifying score further elevates the tension and intrigue.
 
The film boasts a large ensemble cast featuring Gayatri Bharadwaj, Tarak Ponnappa, Murali Sharma, Srikanth Iyengar, Karthikeya, Anirudh Bhaskar, EZY, Yagnya Turlapati, Kabeer Bhartiya, Vishak Nair, and Chepuri Vivek. The combination of experienced performers and emerging talent is expected to add depth and varied dynamics to the narrative.
 
#CULT also brings together a strong technical crew. Tharun Bhascker has penned the dialogues, with Ravi Basrur composing the music. Arvind Vishwanathan is handling the cinematography, while Ravi Teja Girijala is responsible for the editing. Production designer Arvind Mule is creating the film’s expansive visual world with elaborate and detailed sets.
With Vishwaksen aiming to present a story with international appeal, #CULT is planned as a multilingual release across Telugu, Hindi, English, Japanese, and Spanish.
