Ustaad Bhagat Singh received a response beyond our expectations – Team at Success Meet

The Ustaad storm has begun worldwide. After the sensational success of Gabbar Singh, Power Star Pawan Kalyan and Cult Captain Harish Shankar have reunited for Ustaad Bhagat Singh.

Produced grandly under the banner of Mythri Movie Makers by Naveen Yerneni and Yalamanchili Ravi Shankar, the film released today (March 19) as an Ugadi festive treat.

Right from the first show, the film has been receiving phenomenal response across all regions and all sections of audiences worldwide. Fans are thrilled with the way Pawan Kalyan has been presented by Harish Shankar. Not just fans, even general audiences are appreciating the film.

Harish Shankar’s Speech

Director Harish Shankar said:

“First of all, I thank the media. Since this is a mass entertainer, I thought it might take some time for positive talk to come from overseas. But I’m very happy that from the very first show, the film has received positive talk across all regions.

We designed this film to appeal to all sections of the audience. Many people who watched the film are surprised, saying they didn’t expect so much content in it.

From day one, I said I’m making a commercial entertainer and that I would present vintage Pawan Kalyan Garu—and we delivered that.

Even though it is a commercial film, we have included some meaningful elements. Notably, we touched upon the topic of illegal immigrants, which hasn’t been explored much in Telugu cinema.

Every character in the film has importance, and all characters have come out very well. Audiences are connecting with each one of them.

Fans have been calling me and saying, ‘Anna, the film is excellent.’ The use of the Tholi Prema song in the second half is being loved by fans.

For a film packed with so many elements, Thaman delivered an outstanding background score in a very short time.

‘ఉస్తాద్ భగత్ సింగ్’ సినిమాకు మేము ఊహించిన దానికంటే ఎక్కువ రెస్పాన్స్ వచ్చింది: సక్సెస్ ప్రెస్ మీట్ లో చిత్ర బృందం

ఈ సందర్భంగా దర్శకుడు హరీష్ శంకర్ మాట్లాడుతూ.. “ముందుగా మీడియా మిత్రులకు కృతఙ్ఞతలు. ఇదొక మాస్ ఎంటర్టైనర్ కాబట్టి, ఓవర్సీస్ నుంచి పాజిటివ్ టాక్ రావడానికి కొంచెం సమయం పడుతుంది అనుకున్నాను. కానీ, మొదటి షో నుంచే అన్ని ప్రాంతాలలో పాజిటివ్ టాక్ రావడం ఆనందంగా ఉంది. అన్ని వర్గాల ప్రేక్షకులకు నచ్చేలా ఈ సినిమాని మలిచాము. సినిమా చూసిన వారిలో చాలామంది.. సినిమాలో ఇంత కంటెంట్ ఉందని మాకు ముందు తెలియదు అంటూ ఆశ్చర్యపోతున్నారు. నేను మొదటి రోజు నుంచి ఓ కమర్షియల్ ఎంటర్టైనర్ తీస్తున్నాను, వింటేజ్ పవన్ కళ్యాణ్ గారిని చూపించబోతున్నానని చెప్పాను. కమర్షియల్ సినిమా అయినప్పటికీ ఇందులో కొన్ని మంచి అంశాలు చూపించాము. ముఖ్యంగా మన తెలుగు సినిమాలో ఇంతవరకు చూపించని అక్రమ వలసదారులు అంశం గురించి సినిమాలో చర్చించాము. సినిమాలోని ప్రతి పాత్రకు ప్రాధాన్యత ఉంది. పాత్రలు బాగా పండాయి. ప్రతి పాత్రకు ప్రేక్షకులు కనెక్ట్ అవుతున్నారు. పవన్ కళ్యాణ్ గారి అభిమానులు ఫోన్ చేసి అన్నా సినిమా చాలా చాలా బాగుంది అంటున్నారు. తొలిప్రేమ పాట సెకండ్ హాఫ్ లో ఉపయోగించడం అభిమానులకు బాగా నచ్చింది. ఎన్నో ఎలిమెంట్స్ ఉన్న ఇలాంటి ఒక కమర్షియల్ సినిమాకి తమన్ తక్కువ సమయంలో అద్భుతమైన సంగీతం అందించారు. మా టీమ్ అందరి కృషి వల్లే ఇంత మంచి సినిమా చేయగలిగాము.” అన్నారు.

నిర్మాత నవీన్ యెర్నేని మాట్లాడుతూ.. “ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్, తెలంగాణ, అమెరికా అనే తేడా లేకుండా అన్ని చోట్లా మొదటి షో నుంచే అద్భుతమైన స్పందన లభిస్తోంది. విమల్ థియేటర్ లో ప్రేక్షకులతో కలిసి మేము సినిమా చూశాం. సినిమా చూస్తున్నంతసేపూ ప్రేక్షకులు ఎంజాయ్ చేస్తూనే ఉన్నారు. థియేటర్ దగ్గర పండగ వాతావరణం కనిపించింది. షో షోకి టాక్, కలెక్షన్స్ పెరుగుతున్నాయి. మేము ఊహించిన దానికంటే ఎక్కువ రెస్పాన్స్ వచ్చింది. చాలా చాలా సంతోషంగా ఉంది. ‘ఉస్తాద్ భగత్ సింగ్’ సినిమాకి ఈ స్థాయి స్పందన ఇచ్చిన ప్రేక్షకులకు కృతఙ్ఞతలు. ఇంకా చూడనివాళ్ళు థియేటర్ కి వెళ్ళి చూడండి. ఇది పూర్తిస్థాయి ఫ్యామిలీ ఎంటర్టైనర్. అన్ని వర్గాల ప్రేక్షకులు మెచ్చేలా ఈ సినిమా ఉంది. పవన్ కళ్యాణ్ గారు వన్ మ్యాన్ షో చూపించారు. హరీష్ శంకర్ గారు ఎంతో బాధ్యతగా గబ్బర్ సింగ్ ని మించేలా సినిమాని రూపొందించారు. ఈ సినిమాకు ఖచ్చితంగా లాంగ్ రన్ ఉంటుంది. భారీ వసూళ్లను సాధిస్తుంది.” అన్నారు.

నిర్మాత రవిశంకర్ యలమంచిలి మాట్లాడుతూ.. “పవన్ కళ్యాణ్ గారితో సినిమా చేయాలనేది మా కల. అలాంటిది ఆయనతో సినిమా చేయడమే కాకుండా, ఇంత పెద్ద హిట్ అవ్వడం మాకు డబుల్ బొనాంజా. చాలా చాలా సంతోషంగా ఉంది. షో షోకి టాక్ పెరుగుతోంది. సినిమా చూసిన ప్రతి ఒక్కరూ చాలా బాగుంది అంటున్నారు. ఇది సెలెబ్రేట్ చేసుకునే సినిమా. పెద్ద హీరో నుంచి కమర్షియల్ ఫార్మాట్ లో సినిమా వచ్చి చాలా కాలమైంది. ఇందులో అన్ని అంశాలు ఉన్నాయి. ముఖ్యంగా ఫ్యామిలీ ఆడియన్స్ మెచ్చేలా ఉంది. డిస్ట్రిబ్యూటర్లు ఫోన్ చేసి.. షో షోకి వసూళ్లు పెరుగుతున్నాయని చెబుతున్నారు. ఈ విజయం పట్ల మేము చాలా చాలా సంతోషంగా ఉన్నాము. ఆదివారానికి దాదాపు అన్ని చోట్లా బ్రేక్ ఈవెన్ అవుతుంది. కుటుంబమంతా థియేటర్ కి వెళ్ళి ఎంజాయ్ చేసే సినిమా ఇది. మాకు ఎప్పటికీ గుర్తుండిపోయే చిత్రమిది. మాకు ఈ చిత్రాన్ని ఇచ్చిన పవన్ కళ్యాణ్ గారికి మనస్ఫూర్తిగా కృతఙ్ఞతలు.” అన్నారు. 

ఆర్ట్ డైరెక్టర్ ఆనంద్ సాయి మాట్లాడుతూ.. “మైత్రి మూవీ మేకర్స్ బ్యానర్ లో సినిమా చేయడం సంతోషంగా ఉంది. నవీన్ గారు, రవి గారు అరుదైన నిర్మాతలు. ఎక్కడా రాజీ పడకుండా ఉస్తాద్ ను నిర్మించారు. ఈ సినిమా కోసం ఒక్క రోజు కూడా విశ్రాంతి తీసుకోకుండా పనిచేశాము. తక్కువ సమయంలో ఇంత మంచి సినిమా చేయడం అనేది మామూలు విషయం కాదు. వేగంగా సినిమా చేసినా, క్వాలిటీ విషయంలో ఎక్కడా రాజీ పడలేదు. భారీ సెట్లు రూపొందించడం జరిగింది. నవీన్ గారు, రవి గారు ఒకటే విషయం చెప్పారు. బడ్జెట్ ఎంతయినా పరవాలేదు, పవన్ కళ్యాణ్ గారితో సినిమా చేయడం మా కల, బాగా చేద్దాం అనేవారు. హరీష్ శంకర్ గారు అరుదైన దర్శకుడు. పవన్ కళ్యాణ్ గారు ఎంత బిజీగా ఉన్నప్పటికీ, ఈ సినిమా కోసం సమయం కేటాయించారు. రాత్రుళ్ళు కూడా చిత్రీకరణలో పాల్గొన్నారు. నాకు ఈ అవకాశం ఇచ్చినందుకు ధన్యవాదాలు.” అన్నారు.
