Mana Panel Members Hold Press Meet Ahead of Film Chamber Elections
As the Telugu film industry eagerly awaits the Film Chamber of Commerce elections scheduled to be held on December 28, members of “Mana Panel” organized a press meet to address key issues concerning the industry and to present their vision.
Speaking on the occasion, Chadalavada Srinivasa Rao said that the Film Chamber consists of four major wings and emphasized that mutual cooperation among all sections is essential for the growth of the industry. He alleged that over the past ten years, the industry has gone out of control due to the functioning of the Guild, which he claimed acted arbitrarily and selfishly. He stated that workers were made to wait for nearly 20 days without any proper response and that shooting schedules were halted by Guild members themselves.
He further said that while the Guild leaders were more interested in taking photographs with Chief Ministers under the Chamber’s name, they failed to genuinely work for the welfare of the industry. He pointed out that a recent workers’ issue was resolved within 24 hours by Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, even though it was the Chamber’s responsibility. He also highlighted the difficulties faced by small producers due to systems like Qube and UFO, which were allegedly ignored by the Guild. He assured that “Mana Panel” members would remain accessible to everyone, even at midnight, if elected.
C. Kalyan, addressing the media, criticized the so-called “Progressive Panel,” stating that their claims of self-respect and legacy were merely for personal benefit. He said that despite being supported and elected two years ago by small producers, they failed to deliver any meaningful results after assuming office. He accused Guild members of spreading false narratives and said that there was no real support for small films.
He also questioned the claims made about the Chamber building, stating that it is not owned by any individual and does not belong exclusively to the film industry. He expressed concern over Film Nagar Cooperative Society properties being misused and stressed that the survival of cinema workers and artists from Krishna Nagar depends largely on small films. He opposed misleading statements regarding OTT, ticket pricing, and piracy, and urged members to vote for “Mana Panel,” which has representation across all sectors.
Ravichand Yalamanchili stated that the Chamber Council’s welfare activities were far better in earlier years. He alleged that Guild members promised reforms before elections but betrayed members after coming to power. He accused senior producers of acting only for their personal interests and appealed to small producers to support “Mana Panel” to bring the industry back on track.
Natti Kumar said that there was absolutely no support from the Guild and that elected members failed to even attend meetings. He alleged that Guild funds were misused by a few individuals for personal gain. He mentioned efforts made by their group to secure medical insurance for nearly 1,600 members and criticized false promises made during elections. He stressed the importance of respecting seniors and providing medical support to those genuinely in need. He assured that “Mana Panel” would work towards medical insurance and securing a fifth show for small films.
Thummala Prasanna Kumar recalled that during the COVID period, Chadalavada Srinivasa Rao provided financial support to many industry members. He stated that small producers funded their nominations with personal money, while Guild members allegedly used Guild funds. He criticized the practice of approaching the Labour Commissioner and accused Guild leaders of manipulating ticket pricing policies despite the Chief Minister’s stance. He urged the government to utilize available land near Padmalaya Studios for the benefit of the industry and reiterated that “Mana Panel” would genuinely work for small producers and workers if given an opportunity.
The speakers collectively appealed to all Film Chamber members to support “Mana Panel” in the upcoming elections and help restore transparency, unity, and welfare within the Telugu film industry.

ఈ సందర్భంగా చదలవాడ శ్రీనివాసరావు గారు మాట్లాడుతూ… “ఆదివారం ఛాంబర్ ఎన్నికలు జరగనున్నాయి. చిత్ర పరిశ్రమలో ఛాంబర్ లో నాలుగు విభాగాలు ఉంటాయి. ఒకరికొకరు సహకరించుకుని ముందుకు వెళ్లాలి. గత పదేళ్లుగా చిత్ర పరిశ్రమ అదుపు తప్పింది. గిల్డ్ అని పెట్టి ఇష్టారీతిన వ్యవహరిస్తున్నారు. 20 రోజుల పాటు కార్మికులకు, ఎలాంటి రెస్పాన్స్ రోజుల తరబడి ఇవ్వకుండా తిప్పించారు. నిజానికి గిల్డ్ సభ్యులే చిత్రీకరణలు ఆపారు. వారు స్వార్దం గా వ్యవహరించారు. ఛాంబర్ సభ్యుల పేరిట సిఎంలతో ఫోటోలు దిగాలనే ఆలోచన తప్ప, చిత్ర పరిశ్రమ బాగు అనేది వారికి పట్టదు. కార్మికుక సమస్యను సిఎం రేవంత్ యెగ్యులు కాబట్టి 24 గంటల్లో సమస్య సాల్వ్ అయింది. ఛాంబర్ సాల్వ్ చేయాల్సింది, సిఎం సాల్వ్ చేసారు. చిన్న హీరోలను బ్రతకనివ్వరు. క్యూబ్ , యుఎఫ్ ఓ ల వల్ల చాలా ఇబ్బంది. వాటిని పట్టించుకోలేదు. చిత్రపురికి సమస్య వస్తే చిన్న నిర్మాతలమే సపోర్ట్ గా నిలిచాం. మన ప్యానెల్ తరపున పోటీ చెస్తున్నాం. అందరికీ అర్ధరాత్రి కూడా అందుబాటులో ఉంటాం” అన్నారు.
సి కల్యాణ్ గారు మాట్లాడుతూ… “ప్రోగ్రెసివ్ ప్యానల్ పేరుతో మన వారసత్వం మన స్వాభిమానం అనీ ఎదో పాంప్లెట్ లు వేశారు. నిజానికి వారికి ఎలాంటి స్వాభిమానం లేదు. వారు పర్సనల్ బెనిఫిట్ కోసమే వారు ఏదైనా చెస్తారు. మేము చిన్న నిర్మాతలకు అందుబాటులో ఉన్నాము, ఉంటాము. రెండేళ్ల క్రితం మేము సపోర్ట్ చేసి వారిని గెలిపించాము. చదలవాడ నాడు అందరం కలిసి వెళదామని చెప్పటంతో సపోర్ట్ చేశాం. కానీ పదవుల్లోకి వచ్చి కూర్చొన్నారు తప్ప ఏమి చేయలేదు. చిన్న సినిమాలకు ఎలాంటి సపోర్ట్ లేదు. గిల్డ్ సభ్యులు చెప్పెవన్నీ అబద్దాలే. దామోదర్ ప్రసాద్ కార్మికులకు ఏమి చెయలేకపొయాడు. గిల్డ్ ప్రొడ్యూసర్స్ కోసం మాత్రం చాలా చేశాడు. కామెడీగా లేబర్ కమీషనర్ వద్దకు నిర్మాతలు వెళ్లటం వీరి హయాంలోనే జరిగింది. విభజించు పాలించు అన్నట్టుగా గిల్డ్ సభ్యులు వ్యవహారశైలి ఉంది. ఛాంబర్ బిల్డింగ్ గురించి ఐకానిక్ టవర్ అంటూ కామన్సెన్స్ లేకుండా గిల్డ్ సభ్యులు మాట్లాడుతున్నారు. అది ఏ ఒక్కరిది కాదు, దాంట్లో మనం అద్దెకు ఉంటున్నాం, అది సినిమా ఇండస్ట్రీ ది కానేకాదు. సెకెండ్ ఫ్లోర్ లో కొందరికి ఆఫీస్ లు ఉన్నాయి కాబట్టి స్వార్దం కోసం ఎదెదో మాట్లాడుతున్నారు. ఫిలిం నగర్ సోసైటీ ఆస్తి అది. రామానాయుడు గారి నివశించిన ఇంటిని పబ్ కి ఇచ్చారు, బాధగా ఉంది. చిన్న నిర్మాతలందరు మన ప్యానెల్ వైపే ఉన్నాము. సినీ కార్మికుల , కృష్డానగర్ ఆర్టిస్ట్ లను బ్రతకాలంటే చిన్న సినిమాలే ముఖ్యం. ఓటిటి విషయంలోనూ గిల్డ్ వారు మాయామాటలు చెప్పారు. టిక్కెట్ రేట్లు అడిగేది వారే. వాటికి మేము వాటికి వ్యతిరేకం. సీఎం రేవంత్ రెడ్డి గారు ఇప్పుడు మంచి నిర్ణయం తీసుకునేలా ఉన్నారు. ధియేటర్స్ కు అందుబాటులో సినిమా ఉంటే పైరసీ ఉండదు. అన్నీ సెక్టార్స్ లో మన ప్యానెల్ ఉంది. ఓట్లేసి గెలిపించండి” అని కోరారు.
రవిచంద్ యలమంచిలి గారు మాట్లాడుతూ… “కొన్నెళ్ల క్రితం ఛాంబర్ కౌన్సిల్ వెల్ఫేర్ బాగుండేది. గిల్డ్ వారిని కలిసిరమ్మంటే, మమల్ని గెలిపించండి, అన్నీ చెస్తాం అన్నారు. కానీ గెలిపించాక మోసం చేశారు. పెద్ద నిర్మాతలు వారి స్వార్దం కోసమే తప్ప, దామోదర్ ప్రసాద్ కూడా గిల్డ్ కోసమే పని చేశారు. చిన్న నిర్మాతలు మన ప్యానెల్ ను గెలిపించండి, అన్నీ దారిలోకి వస్తాయి” అన్నారు.
నట్టికుమార్ గారు మాట్లాడుతూ… “గిల్డ్ నుంచి ఎలాంటి సపోర్ట్ లేదు. గెలిచినవారు మీటింగ్ లకు కూడా రాలేదు. పదిమంది స్వార్దం కోసం గిల్డ్ డబ్బు వాడారు. మేము 1600 మంది సభ్యుల మెడిక్లెయిమ్ కోసం కృషి చెశాం. దిల్ రాజు ఎన్నికలు కోసం మాయ మాటలు చెప్పారు. అతనికి చేతకాక ఏడాది తరువాత దిగిపోయారు. నాగవంశీ సినిమాలు తీయని వారికి ఎందుకు మెడిక్లెయిమ్ ఇవ్వాలని అడుగుతాడు. సీనియర్ లపై గౌరవం ఉండాలి. కష్టాల్లో ఉన్నవారికి కావాలి మెడిక్లెయిమ్. చిన్న సినిమాలకు షోస్ కావాలని ఎప్పటినుంచో అడుగుతున్నాం. ఛాంబర్ పదవుల్లో ఉండి, వారి స్వార్దం కోసమే పని చేసారు దామోదర్ ప్రసాద్. మన ప్యానెల్ తరపున మెడిక్లెయిమ్, చిన్న సినిమాకు ఐదో షో ఉండేలా కృషిచెస్తాం. దిల్ రాజు , వంశీ, సుప్రియ ఎవరికన్నా ఎమన్నా సాయపడ్డారా? మేము మాత్రం చేప్పింది చెస్తాం” అన్నారు.
తుమ్మల ప్రసన్న కుమార్ గారు మాట్లాడుతూ… “కరోనా టైమ్ లో చిత్ర పరిశ్రమలోని ప్రతి ఒక్కరికి చదలవాడ గారు ఆర్దికంగా సపోర్ట్ చేశారు. మెడిక్లెయిమ్ ను నేనేమి అడ్డుకొలేదు. డబ్బున్న గిల్డ్ సభ్యులు గిల్డ్ డబ్బుతొనే నామినేషన్ లు వేశారు. చిన్న సినిమా నిర్మాతలం సొంత డబ్బుతో నామినేషన్ వేశాము. గిల్డ్ వారు పదవుల్లో ఉండి తమ స్వార్దం కోసమే పనిచేశారు. గిల్డ్ నిర్మాతలు లేబర్ కమీషనర్ వద్దకు వెళ్లటం కూడా దారుణం. సిఎం రేవంత్ గారి టిక్కెట్ రేట్లు పెంచను అన్నప్పటికీ ఆయన మాటనే చేంజ్ చెయించారు. కలిసి ఉండి చిన్న నిర్మాతలకు చేస్తామంటే మేమే అన్నీ మీకు వదిలేస్తాం. కానీ ఒకసారి అవకాశం ఇస్తే ఏం చేశారు. గిల్డ్ డబ్బులతో మెడిక్లెయిమ్ చేస్తామని ఏమి చేయలేదు. పద్మాలయ పక్కన స్దలం ఉందన్నారు. ప్రభుత్వం తో మాట్లాడి పరిశ్రమకు ఉపయోగపడేలా చేసుకుందాం” అన్నారు.
