After KA I wanted to do more thrillers with strong content – Kiran Abbavaram
The successful actor Kiran Abbavaram’s film K-Ramp is speeding towards blockbuster success with houseful shows and increasing box-office collections. Within just three days of its release, the film grossed ₹17.5 crores, reaching break-even point. Produced under the prominent banners of Hasya Movies and Rudransh Celluloid by rising producers Rajesh Danda and Shiva Bommaku, the film is directed by Jains Nani with Yukti Thareja as the heroine. To celebrate this grand success, the K-Ramp Rampage Blockbuster Event was held in Hyderabad, with prominent guests such as producer Dil Raju, SKN, directors Srinu Vaitla, Sai Rajesh, and Vasshista in attendance.
Actress Sita said, “I’m so happy to have played the friend character of the heroine in K-Ramp. This film has brought great success to Kiran, and he truly deserves it for his goodness. I also gained a wonderful friend, our heroine Yukti Thareja.”
Actor Ananya Akula shared, “While working on this film, I realized how passionate Kiran sir is about cinema. If you work as hard as him, success will surely follow. I’ve learned to approach films with passion like him. It makes me happy to see families coming to watch this family entertainer.”
Writer Ravinder Raja remarked, “Reviews are just personal opinions, but the box-office numbers prove the success of K-Ramp. I’m thankful to our director Nani for all the support he gave during the making of this film.”
DOP Sateesh Reddy spoke about the initial fear they had after seeing the first-day reviews, but emphasized that Kiran had complete confidence in the film. “Kiran sir kept saying that we’ve made a good entertainer and the audience will appreciate it. As he said, our film has been well-received by the audience,” he stated.
Production Designer Brahma Kadali noted that when director Jain Nani first narrated the story of K-Ramp, it reminded him of films like Mirapakay and Gabbar Singh. “Nani worked incredibly hard for this film, and he is the reason behind its success. Kiran is all about cinema – he talks only about films, and nothing else. I’m grateful to everyone who has supported our film.”
Music Director Chaitan Bhardwaj credited the film’s success to its strong story. “Because the story was so good, my music has been appreciated in K-Ramp. The success of the film fills our team with enthusiasm, and we’re thankful to the media and audiences for their great response,” he said.
Director Jains Nani shared that the film was completed in just 47 days, and the team’s effort made it possible. “It was Kiran sir’s energy and passion that made this possible. I’ve been a fan of his since watching SR Kalyanamandapam. I’ll always remain his fan. The character of Kumar, which Kiran portrayed, really connected with the audience. People are quoting his dialogues, and it’s overwhelming. I respect reviews as personal opinions, but the audience has proven us right with their support.”
Producer Rajesh Danda expressed his happiness at having Dil Raju, his favorite producer, attend the success celebration. He also thanked directors Srinu Vaitla, Sai Rajesh, and Vashisth for their support. “The characters played by Sai Kumar, Ali, and Naresh have received great responses, and as for Kiran, words fall short to describe him. He’s always thinking about how to bring the film to the audience. I look forward to working with him again,” he said. He also added that the mixed reviews had affected overseas collections, but they were planning a promotional tour in the US to attract more youth audiences.
Producer Dil Raju shared his experience of participating in the success celebrations of KA last year and now attending the K-Ramp celebration. “When a young team works on a film, the energy multiplies. The story that director Nani told, combined with the right producers and Kiran’s performance, has made this film a success. I’ve been inspired by my mentors like Ramanaidu and Shyam Prasad Reddy, and I see Rajesh Danda’s dedication in the same light. If you pick the right content and work hard on the film, success will come. Success and failure are part of the journey, but those who work hard will eventually succeed,” he said.
Actor Ali congratulated the producers for the success of K-Ramp. “It was great to work with seniors like Naresh and Sai Kumar, and Kiran has brought success to this film. I wish director Nani continues to deliver hits with his passion and energy,” he said.
Director Srinu Vaitla appreciated the film’s message of accepting loved ones’ flaws, which was presented in an entertaining way by Nani. He also complimented producer Rajesh Danda for having the vision to support the film from start to finish. “Kiran’s energy in this film reminded me of Ravi Teja. His emotional range was also impressive. Yukti did a great job, and the film is a complete entertainer,” he added.
Actor V. K. Naresh speaking about “K-Ramp” said, “It’s a people’s hit. Kiran became like oxygen to this film with his performance. Kiran is going to reach Pan India levels. When Nani narrated the story, I knew it would be a super hit. A big thanks to the producers Rajesh and Shiva for treating us with so much respect. Actor Sai Kumar shared, “The dialogue ‘If my mother was alive’ in my character has connected well with the audience. Even after 50 years in the industry, I still get nervous on release day. We felt the same for ‘K-Ramp.’ But the audience gave it a great success. I am happy that Kiran got another success with ‘K-Ramp.’ Our son called from the U.S. and said that the shows there are picking up as well. The audience gave ‘K-Ramp’ a great response, and I congratulate the entire team once again.”
Producer Dheeraj Mogilineni stated, “Kiran doesn’t get carried away by success, nor does he lose heart during failure. He works hard, and that’s why after the success of ‘KA’, ‘K-Ramp’ succeeded too. నటుడు సాయికుమార్ మాట్లాడుతూ – ఈ చిత్రంలో నా క్యారెక్టర్ కు రాసిన అమ్మే బ్రతికి ఉంటే అనే డైలాగ్ ప్రేక్షకులకు బాగా కనెక్ట్ అయ్యింది. ఇండస్ట్రీలో 50 ఏళ్ల అనుభవం ఉన్నా ఇప్పటికీ సినిమా రిలీజ్ రోజు టెన్షన్ పడుతుంటాం. “K-ర్యాంప్”కు కూడా అలాగే పడ్డాం. కానీ ప్రేక్షకులు మంచి విజయాన్ని ఇచ్చారు. క తర్వాత “K-ర్యాంప్”తో కిరణ్ కు మరో సక్సెస్ రావడం హ్యాపీగా ఉంది. మా అబ్బాయి ఆది యూఎస్ నుంచి ఫోన్ చేసి ఇక్కడ షోస్ బాగా పికప్ అయ్యాయి అని చెప్పాడు. “K-ర్యాంప్” కు ప్రేక్షకులు మంచి విజయాన్ని ఇచ్చారు. ఈ టీమ్ అందరికీ మరోసారి కంగ్రాట్స్ చెబుతున్నా. అన్నారు.

డైరెక్టర్ సాయి రాజేశ్ మాట్లాడుతూ – నా సినిమాలన్నీ డిస్ట్రిబ్యూట్ చేసి ఓవర్ ఫ్లోస్ కట్టాడు ప్రొడ్యూసర్ రాజేశ్. డైరెక్టర్ నాని 47 రోజుల్లో సినిమా చేశారంటే ఎంత కష్టపడ్డారో ఊహించుకోవచ్చు. కిరణ్ తో నేను చెన్నై లవ్ స్టోరీ చేస్తున్నా. ఆయన కథ విన్నప్పటి నుంచి ప్రశాంతంగా పనిచేసుకుంటూ వెళ్తారు. కిరణ్ గారికి సినిమానే ప్రపంచం. సక్సెస్ ఫెయిల్యూర్స్ కు చలించరు. క సక్సెస్ తర్వాత ఇప్పుడు “K-ర్యాంప్”తో విజయాన్ని అందుకున్నారు. చెన్నై లవ్ స్టోరీ ఫుటేజ్ చూశాం. కిరణ్ గారి కెరీర్ లో ది బెస్ట్ పర్ ఫార్మెన్స్, బెస్ట్ మూవీ ఇవ్వబోతున్నాం. ఈ సినిమాను మరో వాళ్లైతే వదిలేసేవారేమో, కానీ పట్టుకుని అలా ప్రేక్షకుల దగ్గరకు తీసుకెళ్లిన విధానం అద్భుతం. “K-ర్యాంప్” ప్రమోషన్ ఒక కేస్ స్టడీ, జీఎస్ కే శ్రీను, సురేష్ కు కంగ్రాట్స్ చెబుతున్నా. బీ, సీ సెంటర్స్ లోకీ ఈ సినిమా బాగా రీచ్ అయ్యింది. ఈ టీమ్ అందరికీ మరోసారి కంగ్రాట్స్ చెబుతున్నా. అన్నారు.
డైరెక్టర్ వశిష్ఠ మాట్లాడుతూ – కిరణ్ గారు క సినిమా తర్వాత మళ్లీ “K-ర్యాంప్” తో సక్సెస్ అందుకున్నారు. ఆయన కంగ్రాట్స్ చెబుతున్నా అలాగే ప్రొడ్యూసర్ రాజేశ్ గారు అనుకున్న ఔట్ పుట్ వచ్చేదాకా పనిచేస్తూనే ఉంటారు. సినిమా సక్సెస్ అయ్యాక ఆ రిలీఫ్ ఎలా ఉంటుందో ఊహించగలను. నాని మంచి హిట్ ఇచ్చారు. ఈ సినిమాలో రాజేశ్ వాళ్ల పాప బాగా పర్ ఫార్మ్ చేసింది. డైలాగ్ కింగ్ సాయికుమార్ గారికి ఒకే డైలాగ్ ఇచ్చి మెప్పించిన డైరెక్టర్ నాని సాహసాన్ని మెచ్చుకోవాలి. అన్నారు.
ప్రొడ్యూసర్ ఎస్ కేఎన్ మాట్లాడుతూ – “K-ర్యాంప్” సినిమా ఒక నవ్వుల పండగ. రిలీజైన నాలుగో రోజు కూడా ఏపీ, తెలంగాణలో అన్ని సెంటర్స్ హౌస్ ఫుల్స్ పడుతున్నాయి అంటే మనం అర్థం చేసుకోవాలి. ఇది సూపర్ హిట్ సినిమా. పండగ భోజనంలా ప్రేక్షకులు ఎంజాయ్ చేస్తున్నారు. దీపావళికి కిరణ్ సినిమా హిట్ అనేది సెంటిమెంట్ గా మారుతోంది. 47 రోజుల్లో సినిమా చేయడమే ఈ టీమ్ అందుకున్న మొదటి విజయం. అందుకు డైరెక్టర్ నాని, ప్రొడ్యూసర్ రాజేశ్ గారి ప్లానింగ్ ను అభినందించారు. సినిమాను ప్రేమించే హీరో కిరణ్. ఆయనతో చెన్నై లవ్ స్టోరీ చేస్తున్నాం. ఆ సినిమా టైమ్ లోనే “K-ర్యాంప్” గురించి చెప్పేవాడు. తన కంఫర్ట్స్, రెమ్యునరేషన్ కంటే సినిమా బాగుండాలని కోరుకునే హీరో కిరణ్. ఇలాంటి హీరోలు ఇప్పుడు ఇండస్ట్రీకి అవసరం. ఏడు ఛాట్ బస్టర్ పాటలతో చెన్నై లవ్ స్టోరీ సినిమాను చేస్తున్నాం. అది కిరణ్ కెరీర్ లోనే ర్యాంపేజ్ మూవీ అవుతుంది. సినిమా అంటే విశ్లేషణలు కాదు సెలబ్రేషన్. అలాంటి సెలబ్రేషన్ ను ప్రేక్షకులు చేసుకోవడం థియేటర్ లో చూశాను. “K-ర్యాంప్” ను జీఎస్ కే శ్రీను, సురేష్ తమ పీఆర్ తో నిలబెట్టారు. హీరోలు, ప్రొడ్యూసర్స్, డైరెక్టర్స్, మీడియా..మనమంతా సినిమా అనే ఒకే వేదిక మీద ఉన్నాం. సినిమా బాగుంటేనే మనమంతా బాగుంటాం. అన్నారు.
హీరో కిరణ్ అబ్బవరం మాట్లాడుతూ – ప్రతి సినిమాకు కష్టపడి పనిచేస్తాం..”K-ర్యాంప్” సినిమాకు కూడా అలాగే వర్క్ చేశాం. కానీ ఏదో మ్యాజిక్ మమ్మల్ని డ్రైవ్ చేస్తూ వచ్చింది. ప్రతి టీమ్ మెంబర్ ప్యాషనేట్ గా వర్క్ చేశారు. డీవోపీ సతీష్, మ్యూజిక్ డైరెక్టర్ చేతన్..ఇలా ప్రతి ఒక్కరూ తమ బెస్ట్ ఇచ్చారు. మా ప్రొడ్యూసర్ రాజేశ్ గారు ఎప్పుడూ సినిమా గురించే ఆలోచిస్తుంటారు. ఈ సినిమాను ఇంకా ప్రేక్షకులకు రీచ్ చేసేందుకు ఏం చేద్దామని అడుగుతుంటారు. రాత్రి 9 తర్వాత షూటింగ్ కు ఇంట్రెస్ట్ చూపని నరేష్ గారు మా మూవీకోసం తెల్లవారుఝామున 3వరకు షూటింగ్ చేశారు. మా సినిమా గురించి ఎంతో బాగా చెప్పి ప్రేక్షకులకు మూవీ రీచ్ అయ్యేలా చేశారు. మా పీఆర్ టీమ్ శ్రీను, సురేష్ ఎంతో కష్టపడ్డారు. రాజేశ్ గారి పాప తన పర్ ఫార్మెన్స్ తో ఆకట్టుకుంది. హీరోయిన్ యుక్తి చాలా సపోర్టివ్ గా ఉంటూ షూటింగ్ చేసింది. క తర్వాత అలాంటి కంటెంట్ ఉన్న థ్రిల్లర్స్ చేయాలనుకున్నాను. డైరెక్టర్ నాని ఈ సినిమా కోసం పదే పదే వెంటపడ్డాడు. ఎంటర్ టైన్ మెంట్ నీ బలం అన్నా మంచి ఎంటర్ టైనింగ్ సబ్జెక్ట్ చేయి అన్నా అన్నాడు. ఇది పండగ సినిమా అని చెబుతూ వస్తున్నాం. ఏదో గొప్ప కథ చెప్పడం లేదు మిమ్మల్ని నవ్విస్తామని క్లియర్ గా చెప్పాను. డే 1 డిజప్పాయింట్ అయ్యాము. నేను ప్రతి ఒక్కరి అభిప్రాయాన్ని గౌరవిస్తా. ఎస్ ఆర్ కల్యాణమండపం సినిమాకు కూడా ఇలాంటి ఫీడ్ బ్యాక్ వచ్చింది. అయితే నేను బలంగా నమ్మాను. “K-ర్యాంప్”ను కూడా బలంగా నమ్మాను. ఆ నమ్మకాన్ని నిలబెడుతూ నా కెరీర్ లో జరిగిన బిగ్ థింగ్ “K-ర్యాంప్”. ప్రతి షో హౌస్ ఫుల్ అవుతూ వస్తోంది. మా సినిమాను నిలబెట్టిన ప్రేక్షకులందరికీ చేతులెత్తి నమస్కరిస్తున్నా. నా కెరీర్ లో ఇంతకంటే పెద్ద సక్సెస్ లు రావొచ్చు కానీ మా నమ్మకాన్ని నిలబెట్టిన విజయమిది. ఇక్కడా మనమంతా సమానమే, ఎవరూ చిన్నా కాదు ఎవరూ పెద్దా కాదు. మీడియా మిత్రులు కాస్త సపోర్ట్ చేస్తే, మాలాంటి వాళ్లం ఇంకా బలంగా నిలబడతాం. కిరణ్ అబ్బవరం సినిమా అంటే నమ్మకంగా థియేటర్స్ కు వెళ్లొచ్చు అనేలా సినిమాలు చేస్తానని మాటిస్తున్నా. అన్నారు.
