Maverick Director S.S. Rajamouli Launched Muthayya Trailer
The award-winning film Muthayya, featuring K. Sudhakar Reddy, Arun Raj, Poorna Chandra, and Mounika Bomma in lead roles, is directed by Bhaskhar Maurya. It is jointly produced by Vamsi Karumanchi and Vrinda Prasad under the banners of HY Life Entertainments Pvt. Ltd. and Fictionary Entertainment LLP. Diwakar Mani served as the film’s cinematographer as well as a co-producer. Muthayya is set to stream on ETV Win starting May 1st.
Today, the trailer of Muthayya was officially launched by maverick director S.S. Rajamouli and producer Shobu Yarlagadda. On this occasion, Rajamouli expressed that the trailer moved him deeply and extended his best wishes to the film’s team.
Muthayya tells the heartfelt story of a 60-year-old man whose lifelong dream is to become an actor. Residing in the village of Chennuru, he approaches every film crew that visits his village, requesting a role in their projects. He actively creates social media reels and shorts, and delivers powerful lines in local stage plays, showcasing his strong acting talent.
However, becoming a film actor isn’t easy. His family’s financial condition doesn’t support his ambitions, and he receives little encouragement from his friends or relatives. The trailer touchingly portrays how Muthayya faces these hardships – whether he eventually achieves his dream of acting and screens a film he starred in for the people of his village is what the story beautifully unfolds.
