Popular singer Sunitha’s son, Aakash Goparaju returns with his second film, ‘Kotha Malupu’, directed by Shiva Varaprasad Kesanakurthi. Story
Kamal (Aakash) is a carefree young man from Hyderabad who visits a village in East Godavari to attend a family wedding.  There, he is instantly attracted to Varalakshmi (Bhairavi Ardhya), a charming village girl. At the same time, Kamal becomes determined to find a mysterious young woman who once helped him during a difficult situation. As their friendship deepens into love, unexpected circumstances and a photograph trigger misunderstandings that threaten their relationship. Who is the young man in the photograph? What is his connection to Varalakshmi? Can Kamal and Varalakshmi overcome the misunderstandings and save their love? The answers form the rest of the story.

Performances

Aakash Goparaju
Aakash delivers a confident performance as Kamal. He appears energetic and lively in the first half and convincingly portrays emotional vulnerability in the latter part of the film. 

Bhairavi Ardhya
Bhairavi is one of the film’s biggest strengths. She brings natural charm and authenticity to the role of Varalakshmi. Her innocence, emotional depth, and expressive performance make her character relatable. She particularly shines during the climax sequences.

Raghu Babu & Prithvi
The comedy track involving Raghu Babu and Prithvi is one of the major highlights of the film. Their comic timing and entertaining dialogues in the Godavari dialect generate plenty of laughs.

Siddu
Siddu performs well in the role of Gopi and effectively handles a character that plays an important role in the story’s turning point.
