Within hours of publicly responding to concerns raised about the condition of legendary filmmaker Dasari Narayana Rao’s samadhi, ‘RawKing’ Manoj Manchu personally visited the site and initiated cleaning efforts, reaffirming his respect for one of the most influential figures in the history of Telugu Cinéma. The gesture has drawn appreciation from film lovers and admirers of Dasari garu, whose contributions continue to inspire generations of filmmakers, actors, writers, and technicians.
The initiative began after journalist and anchor Gautami shared a video highlighting the neglected condition of Dasari Narayana Rao garu’s samadhi and expressed her disappointment at seeing the memorial in such a state. Deeply moved by the visuals, Manoj responded publicly on social media on Friday night, writing, “It genuinely felt very painful seeing the condition. Dasari Narayana Rao garu inspired generations and contributed immensely to Telugu cinema. Thank you for bringing this to everyone’s attention. I promise this is the least I can contribute from my end.”
True to his word, Manoj arrived at the memorial by 7:00 AM the very next morning along with members of his team before heading to a scheduled film shoot. Speaking during the visit, he revealed that it had been three to four years since he last visited the samadhi. “I came across the video you posted and felt very bad seeing this. It’s been three or four years since I visited. While crossing Chitrapuri Colony, I saw his statue and remembered the samadhi. Your video and my team showing it to me affected me deeply. I was unable to take it. That’s why I made it a priority and came here before heading to my shoot,” he said.
Manoj and his team then undertook a thorough cleaning of the entire ghat area, clearing dried leaves and accumulated debris around the memorial premises. The effort was carried out with the intention of restoring cleanliness, dignity, and respect to a place associated with one of Telugu cinema’s greatest visionaries.

దిగ్గజ దర్శకుడు, దర్శక రత్న దాసరి నారాయణరావు ఘాట్ దుస్థితిపై సోషల్ మీడియాలో యాంకర్ గౌతమి ఓ వీడియో షేర్ చేశారు. ఆ వీడియో చూస్తే అక్కడి వాతావరణం, ఆ ఘాట్ స్థితి ఎలా ఉందో స్పష్టంగా కనిపిస్తోంది. అయితే ఈ వీడియో వచ్చిన కొన్ని గంటల్లో ‘రా కింగ్’ మనోజ్ మంచు స్పందించి.. స్వయంగా ఆ ప్రదేశాన్ని సందర్శించి, శుభ్రపరిచే కార్యక్రమాలను ప్రారంభించారు. దాసరి పట్ల తనకున్న గౌరవాన్ని మనోజ్ ఇలా చాటుకున్నారు. .

ఇచ్చిన మాట నిలబెట్టుకుంటూ మనోజ్ తన సినిమా షూటింగ్కి వెళ్లే కంటే ముందు ఉదయం 7:00 గంటలకల్లా తన బృంద సభ్యులతో కలిసి దాసరి ఘాట్ వద్దకు చేరుకున్నారు. ఈ సందర్భంగా ఆయన మాట్లాడుతూ.. ‘మూడు, నాలుగేళ్ల క్రితం నేను ఇక్కడకు వచ్చాను. ప్రస్తుతం ఇక్కడ ఇలాంటి పరిస్థితుల్ని చూసి చాలా బాధపడ్డాను. చిత్రపురి కాలనీ దాటుతుండగా, ఆయన విగ్రహం కనిపించి ఘాట్ గుర్తొచ్చింది. ఆ వీడియా మా టీం నాకు చూపించడంతో అసలు విషయం తెలిసింది. ఆ దృశ్యాలు నన్ను తీవ్రంగా బాధించాయి. నేను తట్టుకోలేకపోయాను. అందుకే దీనికి ప్రాధాన్యతనిచ్చి, నా షూటింగ్కు వెళ్లే ముందు ఇక్కడికి వచ్చాను’ అని అన్నారు.
