Story
Raakavaram is a Remote Village. This Village lived under the fear of a monstrous presence for over 2000 years. Veerababu (Sangeeth Shobhan) an NRI who returns to his native village Raakavaram and soon gets caught in a centuries-old ritual linked to a demon and a ruined fort. A curse, ominous warning signs, and the looming threat of human sacrifice drive the central conflict. this is the main plot of the story.
Artists Performances
Sangeeth Shobhan is excellent in the lead role and carries the film with ease. His strength lies in his comic timing, and he keeps the narrative engaging whenever he is on screen. while Nayan Sarika and Tanikella Bharani perform well in their parts.Vennela Kishore, Brahmaji, Ashish Vidyarthi, and the rest of the cast done their best.
Technicians
Director Manasa Sharma picks an interesting Storyline for her debut and handles it in a decent manner. The background score by Anudeep Dev is a major plus and supports the mood effectively. Cinematography is decent, and the production values are satisfactory for the genre. Editing is Ok. Over all Technical aspects are good.
Analysis
The film blends humour with horror elements. The pre-interval and interval portions are Interesting and keep the audience engaged. The second half stands out with several hilarious moments involving Vennela Kishore and Sangeeth Shobhan, with Getup Srinu adding to the fun. The idea of giving the monster a human angle in the climax is appreciable. On the whole Raakaasaa is a timepass horror comedy that offers decent entertainment.
