Tabu As Mahanthi Jhansi Rani in King100 – Special Birthday Glimpse Unveiled

King Nagarjuna Akkineni is gearing up for a major milestone with his 100th film, King 100. Produced by Annapurna Studios and directed by Ra Karthik, who makes his Telugu directorial debut with this prestigious project, the film is currently progressing at a brisk pace. On the occasion of Tabu’s birthday, the makers of King 100 have unveiled a special glimpse introducing her character as Mahanthi Jhansi Rani.

The glimpse opens with Tabu’s commanding voiceover, setting the tone for a powerful character. “There are two kinds of people in this world – those who believe in luck and those who believe in hard work. Luck? I hate luck,” she declares, instantly establishing the attitude and strength of her character. The glimpse concludes with her making a grand appearance before a massive public gathering, waving to the crowd and taking the oath of office.

After 28 years, Nagarjuna and Tabu are reuniting on screen, but this time, their story is not about love; it is about war. Even in this brief glimpse, Tabu makes a striking impression as Mahanthi Jhansi Rani. Her character exudes the grace and authority of a queen, with every frame showcasing her commanding aura. Her elegant saree looks, powerful screen presence and regal demeanour perfectly reflect the strength of a woman ready to take on any opposition. The glimpse offers a strong indication of how formidable her character is going to be.

The response to the glimpse unveiled on Nagarjuna’s birthday was tremendous, and the latest glimpse featuring Tabu has also generated instant excitement. Every promotional asset is steadily raising expectations, giving an indication of the powerful world Ra Karthik is creating with this ambitious project.

The grandeur of Annapurna Studios’ production is evident throughout the glimpse, with impressive technical standards adding to its impact. Cinematographer Raja Mahadhevan brings a stylish visual appeal, while Rockstar Devi Sri Prasad elevates the intensity with his powerful background score. Navin Nooli handles the editing, while Sathees Kumar N takes care of the production design.

King 100 is gearing up for a grand Christmas release on December 24.
