Unanimous Productions Production No 2 Movie Titled Alias Rukmini

After delivering the cult blockbuster COURT – State Vs A Nobody, Natural Star Nani’s Unanimous Productions has officially announced its second production venture. Starring Hero Nithiin in the lead, the film is produced by Deepthi Ganta and marks the second directorial outing of writer-director Murali Kanth Devasoth, whose debut film Dhandora earned critical acclaim. The project was unveiled today through an intriguing announcement video that introduces its world in a distinctive manner, while revealing the title: Alias Rukmini.

The announcement video opens with a black screen and an intriguing conversation between Nani and director Murali Kanth Devasoth. Curious about the much-talked-about script, Nani asks the director to narrate the story. The director says it is the story of Krishna, but what unfolds instead is a glimpse of several novels written by the mysterious author Rukmini. Interestingly, all of them are romantic titles, including Garam Gopal, Ameku Ame Ante Ishtam, and Vratham Venkanna. Puzzled, Nani interrupts, saying, “You told me it’s Krishna’s story. Then who is this Rukmini?” The video ends with the reveal of Nithiin as Krishna, a mathematics teacher, in an office setting. Adjusting his spectacles, he says: “My wife,” leaving audiences intrigued and eager to uncover the truth behind the enigmatic narrative.

Without giving away major plot points, the announcement video captivates with its unconventional storytelling, atmospheric visuals, intriguing premise, and pleasant background score, promising an emotional, engaging, and entertaining mystery that immediately sparks curiosity.

With his proven knack for identifying compelling stories, Nani’s association with the film significantly adds an extra layer of excitement and credibility.

After the critically acclaimed Dhandora, Murali Kanth Devasoth returns with yet another original and captivating story. The announcement video offers a glimpse of his unique storytelling style, hinting at a film that has all the ingredients to become another blockbuster for the director and the banner alike.

Alias Rukmini was formally launched today with a traditional pooja ceremony. Nani sounded the clapboard for the muhurtham shot, while Nithiin’s father, Sudhakar Reddy, switched on the camera. Ganta Rambabu (Nani’s father) and producer Venkat Boyanapally handed over the script to the team. COURT director Ram Jagadeesh and Sailesh Kolanu jointly directed the first shot.

While speaking at the event, Nani said: “Today marks the pooja ceremony for Unanimous Productions’ second venture, Alias Rukmini, and I am extremely excited. My dear friend Nithiin has supported me since the very beginning of my career, even before I found success. Many times we fell in love with Nithiin in films like Jayam, Ishq, and Gunde Jaari Gallanthayyinde. We are very confident we are giving one more reason to fall in love with Nithiin with Alias Rukmini. This is a beautiful love story. Love stories are always special, but when they come with a unique backdrop and an exceptional team of technicians, they become even more memorable. We are making a film that will stay with audiences for a long time. Today marks the beginning of that journey, and we will be starting the shoot very soon. My best wishes to the entire team. After listening to many stories following COURT, this was the first one that gave me that strong conviction. It is a brilliant script. We also have to thank Nani for helping us find our Krishna. While we were searching for the right actor, he suggested, ‘Why don’t we approach Nithiin anna?’ We recently shot the announcement video, and the moment I saw Nithiin in that look, I knew he was our Krishna. He fit the character perfectly. I can’t wait for all of you to watch the announcement and experience this journey with us.”

నేచురల్ స్టార్ నాని సమర్పణలో తెరకెక్కిన ‘కోర్ట్ – స్టేట్ వర్సెస్ ఎ నోబడీ’ ఘన విజయానంతరం ఆయన యూనానిమస్ ప్రొడక్షన్స్ రెండో చిత్రాన్ని అధికారికంగా ప్రకటించారు. నితిన్ హీరోగా నటిస్తున్న ఈ చిత్రానికి ‘దండోరా’ ఫేమ్ మురళీకాంత్ దేవసోత్ దర్శకత్వం వహిస్తున్నారు. దీప్తి గంటా నిర్మిస్తున్న ఈ చిత్రానికి ‘అలియాస్ రుక్మిణి’ అనే ఆసక్తికరమైన టైటిల్‌ను ఖరారు చేస్తూ విడుదల చేసిన అనౌన్స్‌మెంట్ వీడియో సినిమాపై క్యూరియాసిటీని మరింత పెంచింది.

అనౌన్స్‌మెంట్ వీడియోలో మొదట నాని, దర్శకుడు మురళీకాంత్ మధ్య ఆసక్తికరమైన సంభాషణ వినిపిస్తుంది. “కృష్ణ కథ చెబుతాను” అని దర్శకుడు చెప్పగానే, రుక్మిణి అనే రచయిత్రి రాసిన పలు రొమాంటిక్ నవలల కవర్లు కనిపిస్తాయి. వాటిని చూసి “నువ్వు కృష్ణ కథ అన్నావు… మరి ఈ రుక్మిణి ఎవరు?” అని నాని అడుగుతాడు. చివర్లో మ్యాథ్స్ టీచర్‌గా కనిపించిన నితిన్, “మై వైఫ్” అని చెప్పడంతో వీడియో ఆసక్తికరంగా ఎండ్ అవుతుంది. కథలోని అసలు మిస్టరీని బయటపెట్టకుండా, ఆసక్తిని మాత్రం రెట్టింపు చేసేలా ఈ వీడియోను రూపొందించారు. వినూత్న కథనం, ఆకట్టుకునే విజువల్స్, ఆసక్తికరమైన నేపథ్యం, హాయిగా సాగే బ్యాక్‌గ్రౌండ్ స్కోర్ సినిమాపై మంచి అంచనాలు పెంచుతున్నాయి.

మంచి కథలను గుర్తించడంలో ప్రత్యేక గుర్తింపు తెచ్చుకున్న నాని ఈ ప్రాజెక్ట్‌తో అనుబంధం కావడం సినిమాపై మరింత నమ్మకాన్ని పెంచుతోంది. ‘దండోరా’ తర్వాత దర్శకుడు మురళీకాంత్ మరో ఒరిజినల్ కథతో వస్తుండగా, అనౌన్స్‌మెంట్ వీడియోలోనే ఆయన కథ చెప్పే శైలి ప్రత్యేకంగా కనిపించింది. దర్శకుడికీ, బ్యానర్‌కీ ఇది మరో విజయాన్ని అందించే సినిమా అవుతుందనే నమ్మకాన్ని  కలిగించింది.

ఈ చిత్రాన్ని తాజాగా సాంప్రదాయ పూజా కార్యక్రమాలతో ప్రారంభించారు. ముహూర్తపు సన్నివేశానికి నాని క్లాప్ కొట్టగా, నితిన్ తండ్రి సుధాకర్ రెడ్డి కెమెరా స్విచ్ ఆన్ చేశారు. నాని తండ్రి గంటా రాంబాబు, నిర్మాత వెంకట్ బోయనపల్లి స్క్రిప్ట్‌ను చిత్ర బృందానికి అందజేశారు. ‘కోర్ట్’ దర్శకుడు రామ్ జగదీష్, శైలేష్ కొలను కలిసి తొలి షాట్‌కు దర్శకత్వం వహించారు.

నిర్మాత దీప్తి గంటా మాట్లాడుతూ: కొన్ని కథలు విన్న వెంటనే ఇది ప్రత్యేకమైన సినిమా అవుతుంది’ అనే ఫీలింగ్ వస్తుంది. మురళీ ఈ కథ చెప్పినప్పుడు నాకు అదే అనిపించింది. నాని కూడా ఖచ్చితంగా ఒప్పుకుంటారని నమ్మాను. ‘కోర్ట్’ తర్వాత ఎన్నో కథలు విన్నాం. కానీ మొదటిసారి ఈ కథ విన్నప్పుడు మాత్రమే ఆ బలమైన నమ్మకం కలిగింది. ఇది అద్భుతమైన స్క్రిప్ట్. మా కృష్ణ పాత్ర కోసం సరైన హీరోని వెతుకుతున్న సమయంలో ‘నితిన్ అన్నను అడుగుదామా’ అని నాని సూచించారు. అనౌన్స్‌మెంట్ వీడియో షూట్ చేసిన తర్వాత ఆ లుక్‌లో నితిన్‌ను చూసిన క్షణమే ఆయనే మా కృష్ణ అని ఫిక్స్ అయిపోయాం. ఆ పాత్రకు ఆయన పర్ఫెక్ట్‌గా సరిపోయారు. ఈ ప్రయాణాన్ని మీరంతా ఆస్వాదించే రోజు కోసం ఎదురుచూస్తున్నాను.”
