Tonga.. Tonga Song Released from Hushaar Pittalu Film Set for August 15 Release
The makers of the upcoming youthful entertainer Hushaar Pittalu, starring Anshu and Vasavi Ganesan in the lead roles, have unveiled the film’s energetic promotional track, “Tonga.. Tonga,” sung by popular playback singer Mangli. The film is scheduled for a theatrical release on August 15.
Presented by Padma Amma and BVG Studios, Hushaar Pittalu is being produced by Venkat Yadav under the Rudra Kranti Pictures banner and directed by Bikshu. The film has completed production and will be released by leading distribution houses Asian Suresh Films. The recently released teaser received an overwhelming response, creating significant buzz around the project.
Composed by Charan Arjun, the newly released song features lyrics by S.S. Chiranjeevan and has been choreographed with vibrant, energetic dance sequences that perfectly complement the youthful spirit of the film.
Speaking at the song launch event, Bekkem Venugopal said, “I was thoroughly impressed after watching this film. Everyone who has seen it has responded positively. Releasing the film on August 15 is a fortunate opportunity, as such a prime release date is rarely available for a small film. I am confident the audience will love it and that the film will emerge as a successful entertainer. Charan Arjun’s music is a major strength, and the Mangli song released today will definitely become a favorite among listeners. Director Bikshu has the potential to create a new trend in Telugu cinema and establish his own unique identity. Producer Venkat is extremely passionate and uncompromising in his vision. Music director Charan Arjun expressed his happiness, saying, “This is the first time an event has been organized specifically to launch a song from one of my films, and it feels special. We designed ‘Tonga.. Tonga’ as a lively, celebratory number. The film features a variety of songs catering to different tastes. Director Bikshu has a deeply rooted storytelling style, and after the teaser release, the film became a major talking point. August 15 is a very special day for me, and seeing this film release on that date is emotional. While working on this project, I always felt like I was contributing to a blockbuster, and I hope audiences experience the same feeling.”
Producer Venkat Yadav said, “The teaser went viral after its release. Some people misunderstood it and posted negative comments without knowing the actual story. Once the film releases, everyone will understand its true essence. It is an emotional film that will touch people’s hearts and offers every emotion audiences expect. Characters like Chitti Pilla and Masinepalli Ravi will entertain viewers immensely. We carefully selected actors who suited their respective roles, and everyone has delivered outstanding performances. This film was made after overcoming numerous challenges and has been produced with complete professionalism. The fact that veteran producer Suresh Babu agreed to release the film itself reflects its quality. Director Bikshu said, “After the teaser release, people started trolling me on social media, but in a way, those trolls made me popular. Many formed opinions without understanding the film. Had this same teaser been released in Tamil or Malayalam, it would have received appreciation immediately. Unfortunately, Telugu audiences often underestimate our own films. Hushaar Pittalu is going to create a trend in Telugu cinema, and after its release, people from other languages will also be talking about it. Vasavi has breathed life into the character of Putta Chitti, and I truly appreciate her dedication. The confidence we are displaying today will be fully justified once audiences watch the film.”
Lead actor Anshu said, “Having my favorite singer Mangli perform a song in my film is a wonderful feeling. Charan Arjun has composed an excellent tune for ‘Tonga.. Lead actress Vasavi Ganesan said, “I accepted this project based on the conviction of the director and producer. Tonga.’ I received many negative comments after the teaser was released, but Vasavi Ganesan and the character Putta Chitti are completely different.
