Sundeep Kishan Karikaala Launched Grandly With Pooja Ceremony
Promising hero Sundeep Kishan’s ambitious pan-India socio-fantasy spectacle, Karikaala, has been launched grandly today with a traditional pooja ceremony attended by prominent personalities from the film industry. Directed by Ugandhar Muni and produced by Mahidhar Reddy & Rajashekhar Annabhimoju under the Shining Pictures banner, the film is being mounted on a massive scale, promising an extraordinary blend of mythology, fantasy, adventure, and social elements. Catherine Tresa, Sakkshi Mhadolkar and Gayatri Bhardwaj play the female leads.
Sathyavati garu, mother of producer Rajesekhar, switched on the camera, while Padma Reddy garu, mother of producer Mahidhar Reddy, sounded the clapboard. Actor Aadi Saikumar directed the first shot, and the script was handed over by Veera Brahma Chari garu, father of producer Rajashekhar Annabhimoju.

What truly inspires me is the sheer dedication of our entire team and our producers, who haven’t compromised on budget for a single moment, focusing entirely on delivering a spectacular periodic experience.

Conceived as a multilingual entertainer in Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi, Karikaala draws inspiration from the enchanting world of timeless Chandamama fairy tales. The narrative is expected to explore a fascinating universe populated by wild creatures, mystical powers, ancient kingdoms, and forgotten legends. By combining the nostalgia and wonder of classic fantasy storytelling with contemporary filmmaking techniques, the team aims to create an immersive cinematic experience for audiences across the country.
The film is envisioned as an ambitious two-chapter saga, underlining the scale of the storytelling planned by the makers. Chapter 1 is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on July 2, 2027, while Chapter 2 is slated to arrive on October 28, 2027. The closely planned release schedule reflects the team’s confidence in the expansive narrative and its potential to engage audiences across multiple languages.
Following the success of Shambhala, director Ugandhar Muni is collaborating with the Shining Pictures team on a much larger canvas. Extensive world-building, elaborate production design, sophisticated visual effects, and grand-scale execution are expected to play crucial roles in bringing the film’s mythical universe to life. The socio-fantasy backdrop also promises to distinguish Karikaala from conventional fantasy adventures.

సందీప్ కిషన్ హీరోగా షైనింగ్ పిక్చర్స్ బ్యానర్పై మహిధర్ రెడ్డి, రాజశేఖర్ అన్నభీమోజు నిర్మాణంలో యుగంధర్ ముని తెరకెక్కిస్తున్న చిత్రం ‘కరికాల’. ‘కరికాల’ మూవీని రెండు భాగాలుగా తెరకెక్కిస్తున్నారు. ‘కరికాల’ మొదటి చాప్టర్ 2027 జూలై 2న , రెండో చాప్టర్ 2027 అక్టోబర్ 28న విడుదల కాబోతోన్నట్టుగా మేకర్స్ ప్రకటించిన సంగతి తెలిసిందే. అయితే గురువారం నాడు ఈ చిత్రానికి సంబంధించిన పూజా కార్యక్రమాలు ఘనంగా జరిగాయి. ఈ కార్యక్రమంలో ముగ్గురు కథానాయికలు కేథరిన్ థ్రెసా, గాయత్రి భరద్వాజ్, సాక్షి మడోల్కర్ సందడి చేశారు.
