Home Town Will Remind You of Your Hometown – Rajiv Kanakala
Home Town is an upcoming web series for aha subscribers, set against the backdrop of memories and bonds tied to our homes. The series stars Rajiv Kanakala, Jhansi, Prajwal Yadma, Sairam, Ani, Anirudh, and Jyothi in key roles. It is directed by Srikanth Reddy Palle and produced by Naveen Medaram and Sekhar Medaram. Home Town will be streaming on aha OTT starting from April 4th. A special preview of the web series was showcased to the media today. At the press meet,
Actor Rajiv Kanakala said, “I am happy to have had the opportunity to act in the web series Home Town. I am watching this series on the big screen with all of you today. The upcoming episodes will be even more interesting. Some of those who watched this preview will be reminded of their hometowns, while others will reflect on their past memories. Watching the children’s mischief in the series made me feel like I had gone back 35 years. Naveen Medaram garu was the backbone of Home Town and led the project exceptionally well. Our director, Srikanth Reddy, designed the series in a way that will resonate with everyone in the village. The series has been produced with excellent technical quality. I wish all the best to Jhansi garu, who acted alongside me, and to the entire team.”

Actor Anirudh said, “I was selected for the Home Town web series right after Rajiv. I play the character of Shastri in the series. When Director Srikanth saw me, he immediately confirmed that I would play Shastri in his story. My characters, along with those of Prajwal and Sairam, will be like the three monkeys: don’t see bad, don’t speak bad, don’t hear bad. We all hope that this series brings us good recognition.”
Actress Ani said, “When I was offered a role in the Home Town web series, I felt it would be a great project for my career. Director Srikanth gave us a lot of freedom on set, which allowed us to deliver our best performances. I am happy to act with Rajiv garu and Jhansi garu. I am also feeling the suspense about how the last episode will turn out. I want to watch it with you all. The characters played by Prajwal, Sairam, and Anirudh are hilarious. Actress Shravya said: “I previously acted in 90’s A Middle Class Biopic under this banner, and now I am part of the Home Town series. I played the character of Sameera in this web series.
