After KA and K-Ramp, Chennai Love Story will achieve blockbuster success – Kiran Abbavaram
A grand musical fest for hero Kiran Abbavaram’s Chennai Love Story was held in Tirupati amid a massive crowd. During the event, the film’s third single, “Jigithara..,” was officially released. Music composed by Melody Brahma Mani Sharma enthralled the audience. The newly unveiled song “Jigithara..” received a tremendous response from everyone present.
Speaking at the event, lyricist Anantha Sriram said, “The style of Allasani Peddana is famously associated with ‘Jigi Bigi.’ That phrase itself inspired me while writing the song ‘Jigithara.’ In the past, great love stories like Geethanjali and Abhinandana were made. We often feel sad that we never got the opportunity to write songs for such classics. But the next generation of lyricists will feel disappointed that they couldn’t write songs for great love stories like Baby and Chennai Love Story. I am grateful to SKN and Sai Rajesh Garu for giving us such wonderful love stories. A true lover never expects anything from his beloved except love. But in this film, the hero loves the heroine so selflessly that he doesn’t even expect that love in return. This is a film where Mani Sharma Garu will once again showcase his glorious musical brilliance. The song ‘Jigithara’ will continue to shine in the hearts of music lovers day and night.”
Director Ravi Namburii said, “The song ‘Jigithara’ comes about 30 minutes into the film. This song is very special to all of us. While composing it with Mani Garu and writing it with Anantha Sriram Garu, we thoroughly enjoyed the entire process. Whenever we felt stressed during shooting, Kiran Anna would ask us to play this song. In the scene leading up to this song, Kiran Garu delivered an outstanding performance. After twenty days of shooting, I couldn’t imagine anyone other than Gowri as Nivi. There are scenes where Steven and Nivi converse for a few minutes, and audiences won’t forget those conversations for at least five years. We are confident that Chennai Love Story will be a super hit. Our producers will announce the release date very soon.”

Story Writer and Producer Sai Rajesh said, “Tirupati is like my second home. Although I studied in Nellore, I was never very interested in academics. My focus was always on cinema. I used to visit Tirupati regularly to meet my friends here. I would walk these roads listening to songs and background scores on my Walkman, thinking about stories. I have climbed the Tirupati hills countless times while listening to music. Just as beautiful as Tirupati is, Chennai Love Story will be equally beautiful. Except for Color Photo, we have held events for all my films in Tirupati. It makes me very happy to launch a song from Chennai Love Story here before its release. Initially, I was worried about how many people would attend this event, but our confidence came from Kiran Garu. We held this event because we knew he was with us.
People ask whether another Baby can come from us, but Chennai Love Story is another film of that caliber. The interval arrives exactly where you think the film is ending. Baby’s journey began with premieres on July 13. It went on to collect over ₹100 crore at the box office and won 34 awards, including two National Awards. Sai Rajesh won a National Award for Best Screenplay. After Baby, we spent a lot of time deciding what film to make next. This was the story Sai Rajesh narrated during that period. While listening to it, I laughed, I cried, and finally realized that this was the film we had to make. He dedicated the last three years entirely to Chennai Love Story. Even while directing the Hindi remake of Baby and serving as Vice President of the Federation, he continued working on this project. Sai Rajesh is someone who knows how to give, not just take.
We felt that only Kiran Abbavaram would suit this story. From being a farmer’s son to becoming a successful hero, producer, and director, his journey has been remarkable. He has introduced nearly fifty newcomers from Rayalaseema. Young stars like him are a blessing to Tollywood. The moment he heard the story, he agreed without any discussions. We are fortunate that Melody Brahma Mani Sharma worked on our film. We are committed to encouraging Telugu actresses, which is why we chose Sri Gowri Priya. When Sai Rajesh Garu narrated the story, it touched my heart deeply. I am happy to have played the role of Steven. Working with SKN Garu has been a wonderful experience. ప్రొడ్యూసర్ ఎస్ కేఎన్ మాట్లాడుతూ – మేమొక సినిమా తీసి, ఏడుకొండల వాడి సన్నిధిలో ఆ ప్రమోషన్ స్టార్ట్ చేయడం అనేది గౌరవంగా, గర్వంగా భావిస్తున్నాను. సినిమా కోసం చొక్కాలు చింపుకునేంత అభిమానం ఉన్న గడ్డ ఈ రాయలసీమ. ఇక్కడే ఈవెంట్ చేయాలని అనుకున్నాం. ఏ సినిమాకైనా ఫస్ట్ టాక్ మొదలయ్యేది రాయలసీమ నుంచే. మెగాభిమానిగా చిరంజీవిగారి ప్రతి సినిమా షోస్ గురించి టాక్ గురించి ఇక్కడి నుంచే తెలుసుకునేవాడిని. తెలుగు సినిమా తీసి చెన్నై లవ్ స్టోరీ అని టైటిల్ ఎందుకు పెట్టారని ఎవ్వరూ అడగరు, మనకు సినిమా అంటే అంత ప్రేమ. లాంగ్వేజ్, హీరో ఎవరు అనేది చూడం, కంటెంట్ నచ్చితే టెంట్ వేసుకుని చూస్తాం. అలాంటి అభిమానం చూపించే నిష్కలంకమైన ఆడియెన్స్ అందరికీ నమస్కారం. జూలై 13న ప్రీమియర్స్ తో బేబి సినిమా జర్నీ మొదలైంది. బాక్సాఫీస్ వద్ద 100 కోట్లు కలెక్ట్ చేసింది, రెండు నేషనల్ అవార్డ్స్ సహా 34 అవార్డ్స్ గెల్చుకుంది. బెస్ట్ స్క్రీన్ ప్లే విభాగంలో జాతీయ స్థాయిలో నేషనల్ అవార్డ్ సాధించారు సాయి రాజేష్. బేబి తర్వాత ఎలాంటి సినిమా చేయాలనే తపన పడ్డాం. ఆ టైమ్ లో సాయి రాజేష్ గారు చెప్పిన కథ ఇది. ఈ కథ చెబుతున్నప్పుడు నవ్వొచ్చింది. కన్నీళ్లు వచ్చాయి. చివరకు ఇదీ మనం చేయాల్సిన సినిమా అనిపించింది. ఆయన ఈ మూడేళ్లు చెన్నై లవ్ స్టోరీ కోసమే వర్క్ చేశారు. హిందీలో బేబి మూవీ చేస్తున్నారు. టాప్ డైరెక్టర్ గా ఉండి కూడా ఫెడరేషన్ కు వైస్ ప్రెసిడెంట్ గా సేవలందిస్తున్నారు. తీసుకోవడమే కాదు ఇవ్వడం తెలిసిన వ్యక్తి సాయి రాజేష్ గారు. వైవిధ్యమైన చిత్రాలు చేసే కిరణ్ అబ్బవరం అయితేనే ఈ కథకు బాగుంటుందని అనిపించింది. రైతు బిడ్డగా మొదలైన ఆయన ప్రస్థానం హీరోగా, ప్రొడ్యూసర్ గా, డైరెక్టర్ గా విజయవంతంగా సాగుతోంది. ఆయన ఈ రాయలసీమ గడ్డ నుంచి 50 మంది కొత్త వాళ్లను పరిచయం చేశారు. అలాంటి మంచి మనసున్న వ్యక్తి కిరణ్ గారు. మీలాంటి యంగ్ స్టార్స్ టాలీవుడ్ కు వరం. ఈ కథ వినగానే ఎలాంటి డిస్కషన్స్ లేకుండా ఎప్పటినుంచి చేద్దామని కిరణ్ గారు అన్నారు. మెలొడీ బ్రహ్మ మణిశర్మ గారు మా మూవీ చేయడం మా అదృష్టం. తెలుగు అమ్మాయిలను ఎంకరేజ్ చేస్తున్నాం. ఆ క్రమంలో శ్రీ గౌరి ప్రియను ఈ సినిమా కోసం తీసుకున్నాం. ఆమె నివి పాత్రలో మీ అందరికీ గుర్తుండిపోతారు. ఎన్నేళ్లు సినిమా చేశామనేది కాదు ఎన్నేళ్లు సినిమా గుర్తుపెట్టుకుంటారు అనేది ముఖ్యం. 10, 15 సినిమాలు తీసిన అనుభవజ్ఞుడిలా ఈ చిత్రాన్ని రూపొందించాడు రవి నంబూరి. ఔట్ పుట్ తో చాలా హ్యాపీగా ఉన్నాం. ఈ సినిమా రిలీజ్ తర్వాత ఎన్ని అవార్డ్ ఫంక్షన్స్ జరిగినా అన్ని నామినేషన్స్ లో లామినేషన్ లా ఉంటారు కిరణ్ అబ్బవరం. ఈ చిత్రంలో కిరణ్ గారి పర్ ఫార్మెన్స్ నభూతో నభవిష్యత్ అనిపించింది. అది లవ్ స్టోరీని మించిన సినిమా. ఆ మించి అనేది ఏముందో ఇంటర్వెల్ తర్వాత నుంచి తెలుస్తుంది. ఇంద్ర, తొలిప్రేమ లాంటి గొప్ప చిత్రాలు రిలీజైన జూలై 24న మా చెన్నై లవ్ స్టోరీ చిత్రాన్ని విడుదల చేయబోతున్నాం. అన్నారు.
హీరో కిరణ్ అబ్బవరం మాట్లాడుతూ – సినిమా రిలీజ్ కు వస్తుందంటే ప్రొడ్యూసర్స్ బిజినెస్ గురించి ఆలోచిస్తుంటారు. కానీ మా ప్రొడ్యూసర్స్ మాత్రం సినిమాను ఎంత బాగా ప్రమోట్ చేయాలి, ఎక్కడెక్కడ ఈవెంట్స్ చేయాలి అని సినిమా గురించే ఆలోచిస్తుంటారు. ఈ సినిమా షూటింగ్ జరిగినన్ని రోజులు ఎక్కడా కాంప్రమైజ్ కాలేదు. షూటింగ్ డేస్ పెరిగినా కేవలం క్వాలిటీ కోసమే ఆలోచించారు. మా డైరెక్టర్ రవిని వెన్నంటి ఉన్నారు. ఇలాంటి ప్రొడ్యూసర్ తో వర్క్ చేయడం చాలా హ్యాపీగా ఉంది. డైరెక్టర్ రవి రైటింగ్ కు ఎమోషనల్ గా ఫీలయ్యాను. ఆయన నా లైఫ్ దగ్గర నుంచి రాశాడా అనేంత బాగా సీన్స్ రాశారు. జూలై 24న సినిమా ప్రారంభమైన 30వ నిమిషం జిగితార సాంగ్ వస్తుంది. ఆ సాంగ్ కు ముందు లీడ్ మీకు గూస్ బంప్స్ తెప్పిస్తుంది. చెన్నై లవ్ స్టోరీ సినిమాలోని కాన్వర్జేషన్స్ చాలా ఏళ్లు మీకు గుర్తుండిపోతాయి. ఈ తిరుపతిలోనే మణిశర్మ గారి ఎన్నో సినిమాలు చూసి ఎంజాయ్ చేశాను. ఖుషి సినిమాలో పవన్, భూమిక సీన్స్ కు మీరు ఇచ్చిన బీజీఎం వింటుంటే థియేటర్స్ లో మాకు ఆ వైబ్ తెలిసేది. చెన్నై లవ్ స్టోరీకి మణిగారు ఎలాంటి బ్యాక్ గ్రౌండ్ ఇచ్చారు అనేది థియేటర్ లో చూసేందుకు నేను వెయిట్ చేస్తున్నా. సాయి రాజేష్ గారు కథ చెప్పినప్పుడు హార్ట్ టచింగ్ గా అనిపించింది. ఈ సినిమాలో స్టీవెన్ రోల్ చేయడం హ్యాపీగా ఫీలవుతున్నాను. ఎస్ కేఎన్ గారితో వర్క్ చేయడం హ్యాపీగా ఉంది. ఆయనతో సినిమా గురించి మాట్లాడుతుంటే ఒక ఎనర్జీ, ఎగ్జైట్ మెంట్ వస్తుంది. గౌరితో కలిసి నటిస్తుంటే నిజంగా రియల్ లైఫ్ లో ఇద్దరి మధ్య ఏదైనా జరిగితే ఎలా మాట్లాడుకుంటారో అలా మాట్లాడుకున్న ఫీల్ కలిగింది. ఈ సినిమా తర్వాత ఆమెకు చాలా మంచి పేరు వస్తుంది. సెకండాఫ్ లో పదినిమిషాల సీక్వెన్స్ అయితే ఆమె అద్భుతంగా నటించింది. నా అభిమాని అని చెప్పుకునేందుకు గర్వపడేలా కష్టపడి సినిమాలు చేస్తాను. “క” సినిమాను సూపర్ హిట్ చేశారు, ” కె ర్యాంప్” బ్లాక్ బస్టర్ హిట్టయ్యింది. తిరుపతి సన్నిధిలో వెంకటేశ్వర స్వామి పాదాల దగ్గర చెబుతున్నా “చెన్నై లవ్ స్టోరీ” సినిమా బ్లాక్ బస్టర్ హిట్ అవుతుంది. తిరుపతిలోనే మన సినిమా మొదట షోస్ పడతాయి. మీ టాక్ కోసం మేమంతా వేచి చూస్తుంటాం. అన్నారు.
