A Big Block Buster Tamil Movie Dada garnered over ₹40 crores at the box office. Now, it has been dubbed into Telugu as Paapa, and brought to telugu audiences by NRI producer Mrs. Neeraja Kota. Can the magic created in Tamil be recreated for the Telugu audience? Lets analize in Review
Story:
Paapa revolve around a young couple who fall deeply in love during college, eventually crossing boundaries before marriage. What follows is a series of emotional and life-changing twists. The story delicately explores themes like youthful attraction, impulsiveness, misunderstandings, generation conflicts, ego clashes, friendship, compassion, and, most importantly, emotional bonds.
Director Ganesh Babu has crafted this simple yet heart touching story with a lot of conviction. Though the plot itself may seem ordinary on the surface, the way it’s narrated leaves a lasting impression. There’s no doubt that his name will be heard more in the coming years.
Analysis:
Great directorial debut by Ganesh K Babu. All the characters in the film felt well thought out and the actors portrayal of their characters were amazing as well. Great acting by Kavin, Aparna Das, Pradeep Anthony, Monica Chinnakotla, Fouziee, Aishwarya Bhaskaran, VTV Ganesh, Harish Kumar and Krishnasaamy Bhagyaraj. The affection and relationship between each character felt very realistic and natural than like acting. A great love story and bonding between a couple through the love they have for their child. A must watch story, since it has one of the best natural romance and emotions shown in a movie, that you will ever get to see in a movie, if you watch this movie.
Conclusion:
Paapa is a must-watch for those who enjoy feel-good emotional dramas. It’s a beautiful reflection of producer Neeraja Kota’s refined taste and stands as an introduction of a tasteful producer to Tollywood. This film will likely remain in hearts for a long time.

కథ
కాలేజీలో చదువుకుంటూ పీకల్లోతు ప్రేమలో పడిపోవడమే కాకుండా… పెళ్ళికి ముందే హద్దులు దాటిన ఒక జంట జీవితంలో చోటు చేసుకున్న విచిత్ర మలుపుల సమాహారం “పాపా”. వయసులో ఉండే ఆకర్షణలు, ఆవేశాలు, అపార్ధాలు, తరాల మధ్య అంతరాలు, వ్యక్తుల మధ్య ఉండే ఇగోలు, ఫ్రెండ్ షిప్, హెల్పింగ్ నేచర్, ముఖ్యంగా బంధాలు, భావోద్వేగాల కలబోతగా “పాపా” చిత్రాన్ని దర్శకుడు గణేష్ బాబు ఎంతో హృద్యంగా తెరకెక్కించాడు. దర్శకుడిగా ఇతని పేరు కచ్చితంగా ముందు ముందు మరింత వింటాం. అందులో సందేహం లేదు. కథగా చెప్పుకోవడానికి సింపుల్ గా ఉన్నా… కథనాన్ని రక్తి కటించిన తీరుకు ఎవ్వరైనా ఫిదా అవ్వాల్సిందే!
విశ్లేషణ:
భాగ్యరాజా, విటివి గణేష్ తప్ప మిగతా పాత్రలు పోషించినవారు మనకు తెలియనివారే అయినప్పటికీ… ప్రేక్షకులు ఆయా పాత్రలతో సహానుభూతి చెందుతారు. హీరోగా నటించిన కవిన్, హీరోయిన్ పాత్ర పోషించిన అపర్ణాదాస్ ప్రేక్షకుల్ని కట్టి పడేస్తారు. వీళ్ళ అబ్బాయిగా చేసిన మాస్టర్ ఇయాన్ తోనూ మనం ప్రేమలో పడిపోతాం. ముఖ్యంగా క్లైమాక్స్ లో కంట తడి పెట్టని వారంటూ ఎవరూ ఉండరు. హృదయాల్ని మెలిపెట్టేసే పతాక సన్నివేశాలు ఈ చిత్రానికి ప్రధాన ఆకర్షణ. బరువెక్కిన గుండెలతో థియేటర్ల నుంచి బయటకు వచ్చే ప్రేక్షకులు… చాలా రోజుల తర్వాత ఒక ఫీల్ గుడ్ మూవీ చూశామనే సంతృప్తికి లోనవుతారు. హీరోయిన్ అపర్ణాదాస్… కెరీర్ బిగినింగ్ నాటి నయనతారను కాస్త పోలి ఉండడం వల్ల… అట్లీ దర్శకత్వంలో ఆర్య – నయనతార నటించగా ఘన విజయం సాధించిన “రాజా – రాణి” చిత్రం గుర్తుకు వస్తుంది. అయితే ఆ పోలిక జోనర్ కు మాత్రమే పరిమితం.
ప్లస్ పాయింట్స్:
దర్శకత్వం, నటీనటుల పని తీరు తర్వాత… ఛాయాగ్రహణం, సంగీతం కీలక పాత్ర పోషిస్తాయి. అలాగే అనువాదం పరంగా తీసుకున్న జాగ్రత్తలు “పాపా” చిత్రానికి మరో ప్రధాన ఆకర్షణ. డబ్బింగ్ చిత్రమనే విషయం తెలియకుండా… థియేటర్లకు వెళ్లి సినిమా చూసేవాళ్ళు… స్ట్రెయిట్ సినిమా చూస్తున్న అనుభూతిని పొందుతారు. సంభాషణలు కూడా చాలా చోట్ల ఆకట్టుకుంటాయి, కొన్ని చోట్ల ఆలోచింపజేస్తాయి కూడా.
మైనస్ పాయింట్స్:
ఎడిటింగ్ పరంగా ఇంకొంచెం క్రిస్పీగా ఉంటే మరింత బాగుండేదనిపిస్తుంది. అలాగే సెకండాఫ్ లో హీరోహీరోయిన్ల మధ్య కాన్ఫ్లిక్ట్ ను ఇంకొంచెం క్యాష్ చేసుకునెలా రెండుమూడు సీన్స్ కన్సీవ్ చేసుకుని ఉంటే ఎమోషన్ మరింత పండేదనిపిస్తుంది. “సింగిల్ పేరెంటింగ్”లో ఉండే పెయిన్, తండ్రీకొడుకుల మధ్య బాండింగ్ కు ఇంకొంచెం ప్రాధాన్యత ఇచ్చి ఉంటే కూడా ఇంకా బాగుండేదనిపిస్తుంది. అయితే… మనసు తడిని వెలికి తీసే క్లైమాక్స్… ఇటువంటి చిన్న చిన్న కంప్లైంట్స్ కు తావు లేకుండా చేస్తుంది. దర్శకుడి మీద గౌరవం పెంచేలా చేస్తుంది!!
చివరిగా చెప్పాలంటే…
ఫీల్ గుడ్ మూవీస్ ను ఇష్టపడేవాళ్ళంతా మిస్సవ్వకుండా చూడాల్సిన చాలా మంచి చిత్రం “పాపా”. ఎన్నారై ప్రొడ్యూసర్ శ్రీమతి నీరజ కోట ఉత్తమాభిరుచికి ఈ చిత్రం అద్దం పడుతుంది. ఒక టేస్ట్ ఫుల్ ప్రొడ్యూసర్ ను టాలీవుడ్ కు పరిచయం చేసిన చిత్రంగా “పాపా” పదికాలాలపాటు నిలిచిపోతుంది!!
