Manam Saitam founder and actor Kadambar Kiran Announces Saparya Project
Extending its commitment to serving people in distress and supporting the underprivileged, Manam Saitam Foundation has announced a major new initiative titled ‘Saparya – We Care for the Uncared’. The project was announced by foundation founder and actor Kadambari Kiran.
Addressing a media conference held at the Telugu Film Chamber in Hyderabad, Kadambari Kiran said that Manam Saitam has been extending support to people in need in various forms for the past 13 years. He said the new Saparya project has been conceived with the objective of taking the foundation’s service activities to a larger scale.
Shelter, Healthcare and ‘Janatha Vaidyam’
As part of the Saparya project, the foundation plans to establish an orphanage, an old-age home and an affordable healthcare facility called ‘Janatha Vaidyam’.
Kadambari Kiran said the project would focus not only on providing medical treatment but also on creating a peaceful and dignified environment for patients, senior citizens and orphans.
The proposed facility will feature a large water pond, a walking track, a green landscaped area and rooms with glass doors, among other amenities. The objective, he said, is to bring healthcare, accommodation and human compassion under one roof.
Support for Elderly Living Alone
Kadambari Kiran expressed concern over the growing number of elderly people living alone as their children settle abroad or in other cities.
He said one of the key objectives of Saparya is to provide such senior citizens with accommodation, healthcare and emotional support. The project aims to assure those who have no one to depend on that “we are there for you.”
Educational Support for Children of Film Workers
The foundation is also expanding its activities into the field of education. Kadambari Kiran announced that, from this year, Manam Saitam will implement a special educational support programme for children of workers in the film industry in association with the Quality Thought Future Skills Foundation.
Under the initiative, five children of film workers every year will receive free hostel accommodation along with two years of free NEET coaching. Another five students will be provided with free IIT coaching.
The programme aims to provide quality education to children of the technicians and workers who contribute to the film industry behind the scenes and help create a strong foundation for their future.
‘Poor People Are My Family’
Recalling his four-decade journey in the film industry, Kadambari Kiran said he had faced several challenges in his career. Instead of developing resentment towards society during difficult times, he chose to find fulfilment in helping fellow human beings to the best of his ability, which eventually led to the creation of Manam Saitam.
“Poor people are my parents, and poor people are my family. When God takes us to a better position in life, we should extend our second hand and support hundreds of people in need,” he said.
‘Service is God’
Stating that Manam Saitam continues its activities with the motto ‘Service is God’, Kadambari Kiran appealed to donors, film personalities and industry leaders to extend their support and blessings to the Saparya project.
He said Saparya should not remain the initiative of an individual or organisation but should evolve into a humanitarian movement with the participation of people from all sections of society.
With its focus on healthcare for the poor, support for people living alone, care for orphans and educational opportunities for talented children, ‘Saparya – We Care for the Uncared’ marks a major expansion of Manam Saitam’s 13-year journey of service.

ఆపదలో ఉన్నవారికి అండగా నిలవడం.. ఆర్థికంగా వెనుకబడిన వారికి భరోసా ఇవ్వడం.. ఒంటరిగా మిగిలిన వృద్ధులకు తోడుగా నిలవడం.. సేవను ఒక కార్యక్రమంగా కాకుండా బాధ్యతగా భావిస్తూ ముందుకు సాగుతున్న ‘మనం సైతం’ ఫౌండేషన్ మరో బృహత్తర సేవా కార్యక్రమానికి శ్రీకారం చుట్టింది. ‘సపర్య – వుయ్ కేర్ ఫర్ అన్ కేర్డ్’ పేరుతో నూతన ప్రాజెక్టును ప్రారంభిస్తున్నట్లు ఫౌండేషన్ వ్యవస్థాపకుడు, నటుడు కాదంబరి కిరణ్ ప్రకటించారు.
హైదరాబాద్లోని తెలుగు ఫిలిం ఛాంబర్లో నిర్వహించిన మీడియా సమావేశంలో కాదంబరి కిరణ్ మాట్లాడుతూ.. గత 13 ఏళ్లుగా ‘మనం సైతం’ ద్వారా సమాజంలో ఆపదలో ఉన్నవారికి, అవసరార్థులకు వివిధ రూపాల్లో సహాయాన్ని అందిస్తున్నామని తెలిపారు. సేవా కార్యక్రమాలను మరింత విస్తృతం చేయాలనే ఉద్దేశంతో ‘సపర్య’ ప్రాజెక్టును రూపొందించినట్లు చెప్పారు.
ఆశ్రమంతో పాటు ‘జనతా వైద్యం’
‘సపర్య’ ప్రాజెక్టులో భాగంగా అనాథాశ్రమం, వృద్ధాశ్రమం, పేదలకు అందుబాటులో ఉండే ‘జనతా వైద్యం’ ఆసుపత్రి ఏర్పాటు చేయనున్నట్లు కాదంబరి కిరణ్ తెలిపారు. కేవలం వైద్యం అందించడమే కాకుండా.. రోగులు, వృద్ధులు, అనాథలు మానసిక ప్రశాంతతతో ఉండేలా ఈ ప్రాజెక్టును ప్రత్యేకంగా తీర్చిదిద్దుతున్నామని చెప్పారు.
పెద్ద వాటర్ పాండ్, దాని చుట్టూ వాకింగ్ ట్రాక్, పచ్చని చెట్లతో కూడిన వనం, గాజు తలుపులతో కూడిన గదులు వంటి సౌకర్యాలతో ప్రశాంతమైన వాతావరణాన్ని ఏర్పాటు చేయనున్నట్లు వివరించారు. వైద్యం, వసతి, ఆత్మీయత.. ఈ మూడింటినీ ఒకే చోట అందించాలన్నదే ‘సపర్య’ లక్ష్యమని పేర్కొన్నారు.
ఒంటరి వృద్ధులకు ‘మనం సైతం’ తోడు
నేటి సమాజంలో పిల్లలు విదేశాల్లోనో, ఇతర నగరాల్లోనో స్థిరపడటంతో చాలామంది వృద్ధులు ఒంటరిగా మిగిలిపోతున్నారని కాదంబరి కిరణ్ ఆవేదన వ్యక్తం చేశారు. అలాంటి వృద్ధులను ఆదరించి, వారికి అవసరమైన వసతి, వైద్యం, మానవీయమైన తోడ్పాటును అందించడమే ‘సపర్య’లోని ప్రధాన ఉద్దేశాల్లో ఒకటని తెలిపారు. ‘ఎవరూ లేని వారికి మేమున్నాం’ అనే భరోసాను కల్పించేలా ఈ ప్రాజెక్టును రూపొందిస్తున్నట్లు చెప్పారు.
సినీ కార్మికుల పిల్లలకు విద్యా భరోసా
సేవా కార్యక్రమాలను కేవలం వైద్యం, వసతికే పరిమితం చేయకుండా విద్యారంగంలోనూ విస్తరించనున్నట్లు కాదంబరి కిరణ్ తెలిపారు. ఈ ఏడాది నుంచి ‘క్వాలిటీ థాట్ ఫ్యూచర్ స్కిల్స్ ఫౌండేషన్’ భాగస్వామ్యంతో సినీ పరిశ్రమలో పనిచేస్తున్న కార్మికుల పిల్లలకు ప్రత్యేక విద్యా పథకాన్ని అమలు చేస్తున్నట్లు వెల్లడించారు.
ప్రతి సంవత్సరం ఐదుగురు సినీ కార్మికుల పిల్లలకు ఉచిత హాస్టల్ వసతితో పాటు రెండేళ్ల పాటు నీట్ ప్రవేశ పరీక్షకు ఉచిత శిక్షణ అందించనున్నట్లు తెలిపారు. మరో ఐదుగురు విద్యార్థులకు ఉచిత ఐఐటీ కోచింగ్ అందించేలా ప్రణాళిక రూపొందించినట్లు చెప్పారు.
సినీ పరిశ్రమకు తెర వెనుక సేవలందించే కార్మికుల పిల్లలకు నాణ్యమైన విద్య అందించడం ద్వారా వారి భవిష్యత్తుకు బలమైన పునాది వేయాలన్నదే ఈ కార్యక్రమం ఉద్దేశమని వివరించారు.
‘‘పేదవాళ్లే నా కుటుంబం’’
తన 40 ఏళ్ల సినీ ప్రయాణంలో ఎన్నో ఆటుపోట్లు ఎదుర్కొన్నానని కాదంబరి కిరణ్ గుర్తుచేసుకున్నారు. కష్టాలు ఎదురైనప్పుడు సమాజంపై ద్వేషం పెంచుకోవడం కంటే.. తనకు సాధ్యమైనంత మేరకు సాటి మనిషికి సాయం చేయడంలోనే నిజమైన తృప్తి ఉందనే భావనతో ‘మనం సైతం’ను ప్రారంభించానని చెప్పారు. ‘‘పేదవాళ్లే నా పేరెంట్స్.. పేదవాళ్లే నా కుటుంబం. భగవంతుడు మనల్ని పైకి తీసుకువచ్చినప్పుడు మన రెండో చెయ్యి చాచి వందలాది మంది పేదలను ఆదుకోవాలి’’ అని ఆయన అన్నారు.
‘సర్వీస్ ఈజ్ గాడ్’.. అందరి సహకారం కావాలి
‘సర్వీస్ ఈజ్ గాడ్’ అనే నినాదంతో ‘మనం సైతం’ సేవా కార్యక్రమాలను కొనసాగిస్తోందని కాదంబరి కిరణ్ తెలిపారు. ‘సపర్య’ ఒక వ్యక్తి లేదా ఒక సంస్థ కార్యక్రమం కాకుండా.. సమాజంలోని ప్రతి ఒక్కరూ భాగస్వాములు కావాల్సిన మానవీయ ఉద్యమంగా ఎదగాలని ఆకాంక్షించారు. దాతలు, సినీ ప్రముఖులు, పరిశ్రమ పెద్దలు ‘సపర్య’ ప్రాజెక్టుకు మనస్ఫూర్తిగా మద్దతు, ఆశీస్సులు అందించాలని ఆయన విజ్ఞప్తి చేశారు.
ఆపదలో ఉన్నవారికి ఆసరా.. ఒంటరిగా ఉన్నవారికి ఆత్మీయత.. పేదలకు వైద్యం.. ప్రతిభ ఉన్న పిల్లలకు విద్య.. ఇలా సేవకు పలు కోణాలను జోడిస్తూ ‘మనం సైతం’ చేపడుతున్న ‘సపర్య’ ప్రాజెక్ట్.. సేవా భావానికి మరో విస్తృత రూపంగా నిలవనుంది.
