Jagamae Sangeetham Trailer Unveiled

Prime Video, India’s largest streaming service for exclusive Originals, unveiled the trailer for its upcoming Telugu Prime Original, Jagamae Sangeetham. Inspired by the streaming service’s Original Hindi series Bandish Bandits, the series brings to life a moving tale of family, tradition, and self-discovery, where the timeless beauty of Carnatic music forms the emotional core of a story about legacy, love, and finding one’s own voice. Created and directed by Palnati Surya Pratap and produced by Sushmita Konidela under the banner of Gold Box Entertainment, the eight-episode musical drama is written by Vangala Surya Manoj, Shravani Samudrala, and A.R. Prabhav, with music composed by Vishal Chandrasekar. The musical score serves as the backbone of the series, bringing its rich emotional world to life through soulful compositions that beautifully weave together the traditions of Carnatic music with contemporary undertones. The series features an ensemble cast, including Prakash Raj, Meka Srikanth, Madhubala, Akshay Lagusani, and Sushmita Shetty in the lead, alongside Suman, Sijju Menon, Shafi, Jhansi, Raghu Babu Yerra, Rocket Raghava, Nagi Jabardasth, Mirchi Kiran, Keshav Deepak, Priyanka Nalkari, Manik Reddy, Prachi Thaker, and Roopa Lakshmi, in key roles. Jagamae Sangeetham will premiere exclusively on Prime Video across India and over 240 countries and territories worldwide in Telugu with English subtitles and Tamil dubs on September 4, 2026.

The trailer offers a glimpse into the world of JagamaeSangeetham, where Carnatic music is more than just an art form. It is legacy, identity, and the thread that binds generations together. Set in the temple town of Vaikuntapuram, the story follows two contrasting worlds. On one side is Balu, the gifted grandson of a revered musician, Shastri Garu, who struggles to uphold a celebrated musical lineage while searching for his own voice. On the other is Pallavi, a celebrated pop star longing to break free from the pressures of fame in search of something more authentic. As their worlds unexpectedly collide, long-held rivalries intensify, hidden truths begin to surface, and relationships are tested like never before. Coupled with Vishal Chandrasekar’s musical compositions, the trailer promises an engrossing family drama about legacy, love, sacrifice, and the courage to chart one’s own path

భారతదేశంలోనే అతిపెద్ద స్ట్రీమింగ్ సర్వీస్ అయిన ప్రైమ్ వీడియో నుంచి రానున్న నూతన తెలుగు ప్రైమ్ ఒరిజినల్ సిరీస్ ‘జగమే సంగీతం’. ఈ సిరీస్‌ ట్రైలర్‌ను తాజాగా విడుదల చేశారు. ఈ స్ట్రీమింగ్ సర్వీస్ ఒరిజినల్ హిందీ సిరీస్ ‘బందిష్ బాండిట్స్’ స్ఫూర్తితో రూపొందించారు. ఈ సిరీస్ కుటుంబం, సంప్రదాయం, ఆత్మశోధనకు సంబంధించిన ఒక హృద్యమైన కథను మన కళ్ళ ముందు ఆవిష్కరిస్తుంది. ఇందులో వారసత్వం, ప్రేమ, స్వీయ వాణిని కనుగొనడం గురించిన కథకు కర్ణాటక సంగీతం శాశ్వత సౌందర్యం భావోద్వేగ ప్రధానాంశంగా నిలుస్తుంది.

దర్శకుడు పల్నాటి సూర్య ప్రతాప్ మాట్లాడుతూ ..‘‘జగమే సంగీతం’ చిత్రంలో అద్భుతమైన కథతో పాటు, ఆ కథకు ప్రాణం పోసే సంగీతం కూడా ఉంటుంది. ఈ కథను చెప్పడానికి కర్ణాటక సంగీతం సరైన భావోద్వేగ భాషగా మారింది. కర్ణాటక సంగీతం తరతరాల సంప్రదాయాన్ని మోస్తూనే, ప్రతి కళాకారుడికి తమదైన వ్యక్తిగత అనుభూతిని అందించడానికి అవకాశం కల్పిస్తుంది. ‘జగమే సంగీతం’ సినిమా ప్రేమ, ఆశలు, గుర్తింపు, జీవితం, ఫ్యామిలీ ఎమోషన్స్‌కి సంబంధించిన అంశాలను చూపిస్తుంది. ఆర్టిస్టులంతా కూడా ఈ కథకు ప్రాణం పోశారు. విశాల్ సంగీతం పాత్రలన్నంటినీ కలిపే దారంగా మారింది. ప్రేక్షకులు కేవలం సంగీతంతోనే కాకుండా, ఈ పాత్రలు సాగించే భావోద్వేగ ప్రయాణంతో కూడా కదిలిపోతారని నేను ఆశిస్తున్నాను’ అని అన్నారు.

ప్రకాష్ రాజ్ మాట్లాడుతూ .. ‘శాస్త్రి పాత్రలో ఉండే క్రమశిక్షణ నన్ను ఎక్కువగా ఆకర్షించింది. అతని క్రమశిక్షణ, దృఢ సంకల్పం, తనకు ఇష్టమైన వాళ్లని కాపాడుకోవడానికి ప్రయత్నించే ఒక తండ్రి ఉన్నాడు. అతను అహంకారం కన్నా, తన ముందు తరాలను తీర్చిదిద్దిన వారసత్వాన్ని కోల్పోతానేమోనన్న భయంతోనే ఎక్కువగా నడుస్తాడు. ఆ భావోద్వేగ సంక్లిష్టత, అలాగే సంగీతం ప్రజలను ఎలా స్వస్థపరుస్తుందో, విభజిస్తుందో, చివరికి ఏకం చేస్తుందో అన్వేషించే అవకాశం నన్ను ఈ పాత్ర వైపు లాగింది. సూర్య ప్రతాప్, అసాధారణమైన తారాగణం, ప్రైమ్ వీడియోతో కలిసి పనిచేయడం నాకు ఎంతో సంతృప్తినిచ్చింది. మేము ఈ కథలోని ఆత్మతో ఎంతగానో మమేకమయ్యామో, ప్రేక్షకులు కూడా అంతే మమేకమవుతారని ఆశిస్తున్నాను’ అని అన్నారు.

నటి మధుబాల మాట్లాడుతూ .. ‘‘జగమే సంగీతం’ కథలోని నిజాయితీ నన్ను బాగా కనెక్ట్ చేసింది. ప్రతి కుటుంబంలోనూ ప్రేమ, అపార్థాలు, త్యాగాలు ఉంటాయి. వాటిని తరచుగా బయటకు చెప్పుకోలేం. ఈ సిరీస్ ఆ భావోద్వేగాలను అద్భుతమైన సున్నితత్వంతో చిత్రీకరించింది. సంగీతం కథకు ప్రాణం పోసినప్పటికీ, చివరికి మన మనసులో నిలిచిపోయేవి అందులోని మనుషులు, వారి సంబంధాలే. ప్రకాష్ రాజ్‌తో, అద్భుతమైన తారాగణంతో కలిసి పనిచేయడం, సంస్కృతి,మానవ భావోద్వేగాలను రెండింటినీ చాటిచెప్పే కథలో భాగం కావడం నిజంగా సంతృప్తినిచ్చింది. ఈ కథకు మూలమైన భావోద్వేగ బంధాలను ప్రపంచవ్యాప్తంగా ఉన్న ప్రేక్షకులు ప్రైమ్ వీడియోలో చూసి ఆస్వాధించాలని ఆశిస్తున్నాను’ అని అన్నారు.
