Pochamma will be available for streaming on aha in Telugu and Tamil on April 17th
The new web series “Pochamma” is set to stream in Telugu and Tamil from the 17th of this month. It is a mystical thriller featuring Ambati Arjun, Ramesh Indira, Priya Shatamarshan, Snehal Kamat, Shruti Naidu, and Sri Pooja in key roles. Gold subscribers will get access 24 hours early. The series is produced by Shruti Naidu under her banner, with Ramesh Indira as the director. A special premiere and press meet were आयोजित today.
Actress Snehal Kamat said she played the character Jessie in the series, which was entirely shot in Chikmagalur. She thanked producer Shruti Naidu for selecting her and said working with director Ramesh Indira was a great experience, both as a filmmaker and co-actor. She added that working with the entire cast was memorable and encouraged audiences to watch the series.
Actress Sri Pooja shared that from the very first day, she believed the series would be a success because everyone involved was extremely dedicated. She said that where such hardworking people come together, failure has no place. She added that the series will engage audiences and streams in both Tamil and Telugu from the 17th.
Kavitha from aha said they were confident about the success of “Pochamma” as soon as they heard the story. She also mentioned that during the shoot, it felt as though the goddess Pochamma herself guided the team, as they frequently came across temples and idols related to her. The team collaborated closely on every scene, which turned out very well, and the music also came together nicely. She assured that the series would captivate viewers. She also noted that aha is bringing several interesting titles this year, including Chiranjeeva, Three Roses Season 2, Dhoolpet Police Station, Sarkar, and Chef Mantra.
Actor Ambati Arjun said some content may appear quiet initially but creates a strong impact after release, and “Pochamma” falls into that category. He added that the poster and title have already attracted attention. He praised the cinematographer and music director as the real heroes of the series and said the aha team has brought it forward with great passion. He highlighted that all actors, including child artists, delivered excellent performances.
