We Don’t Beg for Love, We Become Love – That’s What Padhe Padhe – Niharika 

The makers of Rākāsā unveiled the film’s second single “Padhe Padhe” at a vibrant on-ground launch event held at St. Peter’s Engineering College, Hyderabad. Producer Niharika Konidela, lead actors Sangeeth Sobhan and Nayan Sarika, along with composer Anudeep Dev, attended the event to introduce the romantic track to the audience gathered at the venue. 

Speaking about the idea behind the song, *Niharika Konidela said*, “In most songs, women beg for love, but in this song we become love. We don’t beg for love, we become love – that’s what Padhe Padhe is.” She also described Rākāsā as a “wholesome family entertainer,” adding that the film brings together fantasy, adventure, strong performances and plenty of comedy.

*Composer Anudeep Dev* spoke about the concept behind the song while appreciating the energy of the crowd. “That’s some energy here! If Rapappa is for the boys, Padhe Padhe is for the girls. It’s a really beautiful song and it explores the girl’s point of view. If anyone is not getting the hints, girls can just play this song. There’s a lot more good stuff coming up, and please watch the film in theatres on April 3,” he said. 

Actress *Nayan Sarika* shared her personal reaction to the track, saying, “When I first heard Padhe Padhe, it was on loop. Girls often find it hard when boys are unable to understand the hints, and this song is for both.” She thanked the audience for their energy and support for the film.

Actor *Sangeeth Sobhan* spoke about how the project came to him and what drew him to the story. Recalling the moment director Manasa Sharma narrated the film after the success of MAD Square, he said, “When I asked her what the USP of the film was, she said it’s me.” He also noted that the director spoke about audiences now expecting better-quality films than what is usually offered, an idea that struck a chord with him. With his trademark humour, he added that since he is part of the film, audiences can certainly expect “lots and lots of comedy.” Speaking about the music promotions, he said that while “Rapappa” carried a playful tone for boys, “Padhe Padhe” captures the emotional perspective of girls and reflects how hints in love are often missed.

Musically, “Padhe Padhe” introduces a gentle romantic mood into the soundtrack of Rākāsā. Sung by Sindhuja Srinivasan, composed by Anudeep Dev, and written by lyricist Kittu Vissapragada, the melody carries a soft emotional warmth that reflects the subtle feelings between the lead characters. Following the playful energy of the first single “Rapappa,” the new track reveals a more tender layer within the film’s musical world.

The promotional material for Rākāsā has been steadily drawing attention online. The film’s title glimpse has crossed 1.9 million views, while the teaser has built strong engagement, moving past 2.8 million views. The first single “Rapappa” also struck a chord with listeners, crossing 1.1 million views on YouTube. With the arrival of “Padhe Padhe,” the soundtrack now opens up a softer romantic space, giving audiences a glimpse of the film’s emotional side while continuing to build curiosity around its story and music.

Rākāsā stars Sangeeth Sobhan and Nayan Sarika in the lead roles and features a lively supporting cast including Vennela Kishore, Brahmaji, Tanikella Bharani, Ashish Vidyarthi, and Getup Srinu. The film is written and directed by Manasa Sharma, known for creating Oka Chinna Family Story and directing Bench Life. It is produced by Niharika Konidela under the banner Pink Elephant Pictures in collaboration with Zee Studios, with Umesh Kumar Bansal backing the project.

On the technical side, the film features music composed by Anudeep Dev, cinematography by Raju Edurolu, and editing by Anwar Ali. The songs are being released under the reputed Saregama label.

Beyond the domestic market, Rākāsā is also preparing for a wide overseas rollout. The film will release across more than 350 international screens through Atharvana Bhadrakali Pictures, covering major territories including the United States, the United Kingdom, Europe, Canada, and Australia. Distribution in North America will be handled by Prathyangira Cinemas.

With its promotional campaign gaining momentum and its music steadily reaching audiences across platforms, Rākāsā is gearing up for its worldwide theatrical release on April 3, 2026.
