Produced by Praveen Molaka under the banner of Simba Screen Stories and directed by Srinath Chandrasekhar, Chandrayaan is a hilarious adventure entertainer set to hit theatres grandly on November 13. The makers released the film’s trailer today.
Only five countries in the world have successfully sent spacecraft to the Moon. Imagine how hilarious it would be if four youngsters from a small village called Mandamarri, who do not even know basic mathematics, attempted something similar. Chandrayaan is all set to bring this amusing concept to the silver screen. The trailer offers a glimpse of the fun-filled adventure awaiting audiences.
The trailer introduces four youngsters who begin their mission to reach the Moon by building a rocket with the help of Google. They dream of making their village famous, hoping that the entire world will turn its attention towards them. Their unusual experiments include using rice bran as rocket fuel and even renting a chicken to test whether it can survive in that environment. These unconventional scientists come up with experiments that give science itself a twist. However, the villagers believe that their rocket experiment will bring trouble to the village. Meanwhile, the emergence of a murder case and the introduction of the character Baba Bhaskar add further intrigue to the narrative. Despite receiving no support or encouragement from anyone, how do these four youngsters build a rocket using whatever resources they can find? And how do they finally embark on their journey to the Moon? The trailer keeps the curiosity alive throughout, promising a hilarious and engaging adventure.
