Maya Lady Promises a Musical Family Entertainer – Rakesh Varre
Young and talented actor and passionate producer Rakesh Varre is coming up with his latest film, “Maya Lady”. He is playing the lead role while also producing the film under his Crazy Ants Productions banner. Rakesh previously earned appreciation for backing content-driven films such as “Evvarikee Cheppoddhu” and “Peka Medalu”. With “Maya Lady”, he is now gearing up to bring another interesting film to audiences. Directed by Prasankar, the film features Madhumitha Sarcar as the female lead. “Maya Lady” is set for a grand worldwide theatrical release on November 13. The film’s trailer launch event was held in Hyderabad today.
Art Director Bhargava Noundla said, “I previously worked with Rakesh garu on Jithender Reddy, and this is my second film with him. I thank Rakesh garu and our director Prasankar garu for giving me this opportunity. I request everyone to support our film, which is arriving in theatres on November 13, and make it a success.”
Fight Master Anji said, “Audiences will get to experience a different style of action in Maya Lady. Both our lead actors worked hard and practised extensively for the action sequences. They have performed exceptionally well, and I hope the action episodes receive great appreciation.”
Actress Madhurima said, “We hope everyone liked the trailer of Maya Lady. The songs have come out wonderfully, and every track is melodious. Rakesh will impress audiences both as a producer and as an actor. His character Krish will be one of the highlights of the film. I am sure everyone will also appreciate Madhumitha’s performance.”
Heroine Madhumita Sarcar said, “Maya Lady marks my debut in Telugu cinema. I hope you all liked our trailer, and I am confident that audiences will enjoy my performance. It is a beautiful film, and I am happy to be part of such a wonderful project. My character offers plenty of scope to perform. We shot the film across several locations, and we can already see the excitement among audiences about its content. I hope the film receives immense love and appreciation from everyone.”
Director Prasankar said, “Relationships bring out a wide range of emotions. Our film interestingly explores how a young man named Krish deals with the different emotions expressed by his girlfriend. As a relationship progresses, one experiences several feelings, including happiness, anger and many others. We believe this is an emotion-driven subject that will connect with audiences. Along with good music and entertainment, the film also carries a small message.”
Hero and producer Rakesh Varre said, “I am coming before you after a gap of two years. Following Peka Medalu and Evvarikee Cheppoddhu, I spent considerable time thinking about the kind of stories I should choose next. This time, I wanted to make a proper commercial film while retaining the distinctive storytelling style associated with our banner. We wanted to create a film with strong family elements and music, along the lines of Manmadhudu, Nuvvu Naaku Nachav and Ninne Pelladatha.
“It has been a long time since we experienced a love story with the vibe of Kushi on screen. Personally, I have been missing that genre and wondered why we shouldn’t attempt something along those lines. While action films are being made one after another, we decided to explore a refreshing genre. Around that time, Prasankar was working on a script, and it took us nearly a year to develop and lock it.
“Once the script was finalised, we felt music would play a crucial role, so we approached Vishal Chandrashekhar. He immediately liked the story and agreed to come on board. The heroine’s character has almost as much screen space as the hero’s, so we wanted to find the right performer for the role. That is when Madhumitha joined our team.
“I felt that producing the film myself would allow me to bring this story to the screen without compromising on its vision. We spent more than what my market might normally demand because I strongly believed this script had the potential to become a blockbuster. I felt this was a film that could establish me further, so I put my complete effort into it as a producer.
“At a time when audiences are seeing several action films filled with intense violence, I believe a film like Maya Lady will offer a refreshing change. I hope everyone enjoys it. If this film becomes a big hit, I will come back with another good film. Its success is very important to my career. I promise that audiences will enjoy a musical family entertainer in theatres and walk out feeling happy. I sincerely hope you all give our film your love and support.”
