Single Window System to Make Film Shooting Permissions Easier in Andhra Pradesh – APFDC Chairman Bharat Bhushan

AP Film Development Corporation (APFDC) Chairman Bharat Bhushan, Vice Chairman and popular director Meher Ramesh, and actress Hebah Patel attended the event as chief guests.

The members of the Vizag Film Nagar Cultural Committee and representatives of Talent Real Studios felicitated the newly formed APFDC committee, which was constituted 12 years after the bifurcation of united Andhra Pradesh.

Two new film production companies, Talent Productions and Kantiputi Creations, were also launched during the event.

Speaking on the occasion, APFDC Chairman Bharat Bhushan said that the government is taking steps to develop the film industry in Andhra Pradesh along with the development of Amaravati.

He said, “We will provide the required infrastructure to develop Visakhapatnam as an important centre for the film industry. We will develop dubbing theatres in Visakhapatnam and soon make arrangements to conduct national-level film award events here. We are also planning to introduce a single-window system so that filmmakers can easily get permissions for film shootings. We will take steps to encourage more film shootings across the state.”

He further said that small films are the backbone of the film industry as they provide opportunities to new talent. According to him, when a film has good content and a strong story, the star cast is not the only important factor.

Popular director Meher Ramesh said, “Visakhapatnam is soon going to become the film capital. We visited the Bhogapuram airport for the first time. Visakhapatnam is already developing as a Google and IT hub. The development of the city is continuing under the leadership of Pawan Kalyan, Balakrishna and Minister Kandula Durgesh. We are working to improve the infrastructure further and create opportunities for a large number of film shootings in the future.”

APFDC members Suman, Shivaji, Chadalavada Srinivasa Rao, Sai Baba Burra, Jhansi, Samudra and Satyanarayana attended the event.

Representatives and personalities from the film industry, including TFPC Secretary Tummala Prasanna Kumar, TFDA President VN Aditya, MAA Vice President Madala Ravi, director-actor Viswanath, director-producer Sai Rajesh, actor Satya Prakash, Shanmukh, Karthik Raju, Prashanth and others were also present.

Awards were presented to talented participants of the short film competitions conducted by Talent Real Studios. Winners in categories such as Best Short Film, Best Artist, Best Director and Best Photography received awards from the chief guests.

The musical performances by singers were another major attraction of the event and entertained the audience.

Film industry personalities, artists, organisers and a large number of cinema fans attended the event and made it a grand success.

The organisers also said that efforts will be made to develop Visakhapatnam as a major destination for film shootings and to create more opportunities for local artists and technicians in the film industry.

భీమిలి సాగర తీరంలోని తిమ్మాపురం వైజాగ్ ఫిల్మ్ నగర్ కల్చరల్ సెంటర్‌లో సినీ సెలబ్రిటీ గాలా ఫిల్మ్ అవార్డుల ప్రధానోత్సవం ఘనంగా నిర్వహించారు. ఈ కార్యక్రమానికి ఏపీ ఫిల్మ్ డెవలప్‌మెంట్ కార్పొరేషన్ (APFDC) ఛైర్మన్ భరత్ భూషణ్, వైస్ ఛైర్మన్, ప్రముఖ దర్శకుడు మెహర్ రమేష్, హీరోయిన్ హెబ్బా పటేల్ ముఖ్య అతిథులుగా హాజరయ్యారు. ఈ సందర్భంగా ఉమ్మడి ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ విభజన అనంతరం 12 ఏళ్లకు ఏర్పడిన APFDC కమిటీ సభ్యులను వైజాగ్ ఫిల్మ్ నగర్ కల్చరల్ కమిటీ సభ్యులు, టాలెంట్ రియల్ స్టూడియో ప్రతినిధులు ఘనంగా సన్మానించారు. అలాగే టాలెంట్ ప్రొడక్షన్స్, కంటిపూటి క్రియేషన్స్ పేరుతో రెండు నూతన సినీ నిర్మాణ సంస్థలను ప్రారంభించారు.

ఈ సందర్భంగా APFDC ఛైర్మన్ భరత్ భూషణ్ మాట్లాడుతూ… “అమరావతి అభివృద్ధితో పాటు ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్‌లో సినీ రంగాన్ని కూడా మరింత అభివృద్ధి చేయడానికి ప్రభుత్వం చర్యలు తీసుకుంటుంది. విశాఖపట్నాన్ని సినీ రంగానికి ముఖ్య కేంద్రంగా తీర్చిదిద్దేందుకు అవసరమైన మౌలిక సదుపాయాలను కల్పిస్తాము. విశాఖలో డబ్బింగ్ థియేటర్లను అభివృద్ధి చేయడంతో పాటు, త్వరలో జాతీయ స్థాయి అవార్డుల వేడుకలు నిర్వహించేలా ఏర్పాట్లు చేస్తాము. సినిమా షూటింగ్స్‌కు అనుమతులు సులభంగా లభించేలా సింగిల్ విండో విధానం తీసుకురానున్నాము. రాష్ట్రంలో ఎక్కువ సంఖ్యలో సినిమా షూటింగ్స్ జరిగేలా చర్యలు తీసుకుంటాము. చిన్న సినిమాలే సినీ పరిశ్రమకు బలం, వాటి వల్లే పరిశ్రమలో కొత్త ప్రతిభకు అవకాశాలు లభిస్తున్నాయి. సినిమాలో మంచి విషయం, బలమైన కంటెంట్ ఉంటే ఎవరితో సినిమా తీశారనేది పెద్దగా ముఖ్యం కాదు” అన్నారు.

ప్రముఖ దర్శకుడు మెహర్ రమేష్ మాట్లాడుతూ… “విశాఖపట్నం త్వరలో సినిమా రాజధానిగా మారబోతోంది. తొలిసారిగా భోగాపురం విమానాశ్రయానికి వచ్చాము, విశాఖ నగరం ఇప్పటికే గూగుల్, ఐటీ హబ్‌గా అభివృద్ధి చెందుతోంది. పవన్ కల్యాణ్, బాలకృష్ణ, మంత్రి కందుల దుర్గేష్ ఆధ్వర్యంలో విశాఖ అభివృద్ధి కొనసాగుతోంది. మౌలిక సదుపాయాలను మరింత మెరుగుపరచడంతో పాటు, భవిష్యత్‌లో పెద్ద సంఖ్యలో సినిమా షూటింగ్స్ జరిగేలా కృషి చేస్తున్నాము” అన్నారు.
