Nandamuri BasavaRama Tarakam NTR Charitable Trust Dispatches Essential Relief Supplies to Assam Flood Victims

The Nandamuri Basava Tarakam NTR Charitable Trust, established on the occasion of the birth centenary of Smt. Nandamuri BasavaRama Tarakam Garu, wife of the legendary Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao (NTR), has extended a helping hand to the flood-affected people of Assam by dispatching essential relief materials.

Moved by the devastating floods that have disrupted the lives of thousands in Assam, the Trust launched a large-scale relief initiative by voluntarily collecting essential supplies from people across the Telugu states. The collected relief materials were handed over to the NGO The Embryos, which will distribute them among flood victims in Assam.

The relief consignment includes food supplies, clothing, drinking water, and other daily necessities. The initiative received an overwhelming response from Hyderabad, Vijayawada, Khammam, and several other regions, with contributions also pouring in from supporters living abroad.

*Speaking on the occasion, Producer and Cinematographer for several films – Nandamuri Mohanakrishna said*:

“Our beloved NTR Garu always believed that ‘Society is our temple and people are our God.’ Inspired by his ideals, the Nandamuri BasavaRama Tarakam NTR Charitable Trust is committed to serving humanity. Through this initiative, we are standing in solidarity with the people of Assam who have suffered immense losses due to the floods. We are grateful to everyone who came forward to support this noble cause. This Trust has been established solely with the intention of serving society without expecting anything in return, and we will continue to carry forward the values and vision of our parents through many more service activities.”

*Nandamuri Mohan Roopa* expressed gratitude to everyone who contributed towards the relief drive.

“I pay my respects to the noble couple, Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao Garu and BasavaRama Tarakam Garu. The floods in Assam have severely affected countless families, and we felt it was our responsibility to stand by them. We collected essential supplies from different regions, and the response from the public exceeded all our expectations. We are especially touched by the support received from Indians living abroad. The relief materials are being sent through *The Embryos*, and this is only the first consignment. More relief supplies received in the coming days will also be dispatched promptly. We sincerely thank every volunteer and donor who made this humanitarian effort possible.”

*Nandamuri Seemanthini also shared her thoughts on the occasion*.

“It is a matter of great pride to establish a Trust in the names of NTR Garu and BasavaRama Tarakam Garu. We initiated this relief drive to support the flood victims of Assam, and the response has been truly overwhelming. Many individuals and families came forward to contribute generously. Today, we are dispatching these essential supplies to Assam, and I extend my heartfelt gratitude to everyone who stood with us in this noble mission.”

The Trust stated that it will continue to undertake humanitarian and social service initiatives in the future. It also announced that details of contributors and future relief activities will be shared through its official Instagram page, Nandamuri BasavaRama Tarakam NTR Charitable Trust. 

అస్సాం వరద బాధితులకు నిత్యవసర వస్తువులను పంపిణీ చేసిన నందమూరి బసవరామ తారకం ఎన్టీఆర్ చారిటబుల్ ట్రస్ట్

స్వర్గీయ నందమూరి తారక రామారావు గారి సతీమణి శ్రీమతి నందమూరి బసవరామ తారకం గారి శతజయంతి సందర్భంగా ప్రారంభించిన నందమూరి బసవరామ తారకం ఎన్టీఆర్ చారిటబుల్ ట్రస్ట్ ద్వారా అస్సాం వరద బాధితులకు నిత్యవసర వస్తువులు పంపించడం జరిగింది. భారీ వర్షాల వల్ల కలిగి వరదలలో చిక్కుకుని ఎంతో నష్టపోయిన మన దేశంలోని మన రాష్ట్రమేనా అస్సాం రాష్ట్ర ప్రజలకు అండగా నిలబడాలని ఈ ట్రస్ట్ ద్వారా ఇక తెలుగు రాష్ట్రాల నుండి నిత్యవసర వస్తువులను ప్రజల నుండి స్వచ్ఛందంగా స్వీకరించి ఆ నిత్యవసర వస్తువులను నేడు అస్సాం వరద బాధితులకు ఒక ఎన్జీవో సంస్థ (THE EMBRYOS) ద్వారా అందచేయడం జరిగింది. తెలుగు రాష్ట్రాలలోని హైదరాబాద్, విజయవాడ, ఖమ్మంతో పాటు ఇతర దేశాల నుండి కూడా ఈ ట్రస్ట్ ద్వారా సేవ చేసేందుకు ప్రజలు ముందుకు రావడం విశేషం. ఈ సందర్భంగా ఆహారం పదార్థాలు, బట్టలు, త్రాగునీరు వంటి నిత్యవసర వస్తువులను పంపిణీ చేయడం జరిగింది.

ఈ సందర్భంగా పలు సినిమాలకు నిర్మాత, సినిమాటోగ్రాఫర్  *నందమూరి మోహనకృష్ణ గారు* మాట్లాడుతూ… “అందరికీ నమస్కారం. సమాజమే దేవాలయం, ప్రజలే దేవుళ్ళు” అని నమ్మే మనందరి అన్నగారు నందమూరి తారక రామారావు గారి మాటలను స్ఫూర్తిగా తీసుకొని మానవత్వంతో ప్రజాసేవ చేస్తూ ముందుకు వెళ్లే దిశగా నందమూరి బసవరామ తారకం ఎన్టీఆర్ చారిటబుల్ ట్రస్ట్ ద్వారా మన పొరుగు రాష్ట్రమైన అస్సాంలో వరదల వల్ల నష్టపోయిన ప్రజలకు అండగా నిలుస్తూ నిత్యవసర వస్తువులను పంపిణీ చేస్తున్నాము. ఈ ట్రస్ట్ ద్వారా అందరికీ సహాయం చేస్తూ, అండగా ఉండాలని కోరుకుంటున్నాము. *నందమూరి మోహన్ రూపా గారు* మాట్లాడుతూ… “పుణ్య దంపతులు నందమూరి తారక రామారావు గారికి, నందమూరి బసవరామ తారకం గారికి నా పాదాభివందనాలు. అస్సాంలో భారీ వరదల వల్ల జీవనాధారం దెబ్బ తిన్న విషయం అందరికీ తెలిసిందే.  ఇటువంటి విపత్తుకర పరిస్థితిలో వారికి అండగా నిలబడటం కోసం నందమూరి బసవరామ తారకం ఎన్టీఆర్ చారిటబుల్ ట్రస్ట్ ద్వారా నిత్యవసర వస్తువులను స్వీకరించి వరద బాధితుల కోసం పంపించడం జరుగుతుంది. దీనికోసం వివిధ ప్రాంతాల నుండి ఈ వస్తువులను సేకరించాము. ప్రజలంతా స్వచ్ఛందంగా ముందుకు వచ్చి తమ వంతు సాయం చేయడం చూసి చాలా సంతోషించాము. ఈ కార్యక్రమం కోసం పనిచేసిన ప్రతి ఒక్కరికి పేరుపేరునా ధన్యవాదాలు తెలుపుకుంటున్నాను. ఇతర దేశాల నుండి ట్రస్ట్ కు సరుకులను పంపడం చూసి ఆశ్చర్యపోయాము. THE EMBRYOS అనే సంస్థ ద్వారా ఈ వస్తువులను అస్సాం వరద బాధితులకు అందిస్తున్నాము. ఇప్పటికి అందిన సహాయం అంతటిని ఒక ట్రక్కు ద్వారా పంపిస్తున్నాము. ఇంకా రానున్న ఈ నిత్యవసర వస్తువులను ముందు ముందు రానున్న సహాయాన్ని కూడా ఇలాగే త్వరలోనే పంపించి ఆ వివరాలను వెల్లడిస్తాము. ఈ ట్రస్ట్ ద్వారా సహాయం అందిస్తూ వస్తున్న వారి వివరాలను ఇంస్టాగ్రామ్ (NANDAMURI BASAVARAMA TARAKAM NTR CHARITABLE TRUST) ద్వారా వారి వివరాలను వెల్లడిస్తాము” అన్నారు.

*నందమూరి సీమంతిని గారు* మాట్లాడుతూ… “పుణ్య దంపతులు ఎన్టీ రామారావు గారు, బసవరామ తారకం గారి పేరుతో ట్రస్ట్ ప్రారంభించడం చాలా సంతోషకరం. ఈ ట్రస్ట్ ద్వారా అస్సాం వరద బాధితులకు అండగా నిలిచేందుకు నిత్యవసర వస్తువులు స్వీకరణ ప్రారంభించాము. ఈ కార్యక్రమం ఎంతో అద్భుతంగా విజయం సాధించింది. మా వంతు సాయంగా ప్రారంభించిన ఈ కార్యక్రమానికి ఎంతోమంది అండగా నిలిచారు. నేడు ఈ నిత్యవసర వస్తువులు అంతా అస్సాం పంపించడం జరుగుతుంది. ఈ కార్యక్రమానికి అండగా నిలిచిన అందరికీ పేరుపేరునా ధన్యవాదాలు తెలుపుకుంటున్నాను” అంటూ ముగించారు.
