666 Operation Dream Theatre Teaser Unveiled
The much awaited 666 Operation Dream Theatre held a screening of its teaser just for the media. The event was studded with the entire cast, led by Dr. Shiva Rajkumar, Daali Dhananjaya, Priyanka Mohan, Aditi Balan, and the crew led by Director Hemanth M Rao, Producer Vaishak J Gowda, DOP Advaitha Gurumurthy, Music Director Charan Raj, and Production Designer Vishwas Kashyap.
The teaser sets up the world of 666 Operation Dream Theatre beautifully. The makers had positioned this as a spy drama, a homage to the CID 999 series starring the legendary Dr. Rajkumar. The era, a mission, a veteran agent, an aspiring agent, a masked man, the ‘Flap on the Eyes’ bad guy, a mother and her fairy tale, and Dhananjaya adding the twist at the end.
Dr. Shiva Rajkumar, as Agent Prakash, sets up the explosion and blazes the screen, with his eyes being the most dangerous weapon an agent can have. Dhananjaya, as the agent who is confused about the proceedings, is convincing until you see him pull the rug out in the last few seconds of the teaser.
The teaser has everything that is set up to tease the audience. Advaitha Gurumurthy and Vishwas Kashyap have set this world up splendidly. Vishwas has built a world from imagination to the final frame. Not a single place does it feel like it’s created for the film, and that is the true brilliance of his craft.
Advaitha Gurumurthy, known for visually painting a story by himself, brings the glory of yesteryears onto the big screen. To watch it on the big screen is to watch poetry unfold in visuals. His lighting, and the way he blends the camera into the narrative, adds layers to the already layered teaser.
Hemanth Rao continues to surprise with every film he directs. His ability to extract the best out of every technician and actor is commendable. The passion to tell a story larger than life, determined, and honest to its essence shows his love for cinema. To everyone who has not experienced vintage cinema on the big screen but has heard about it, this is your only chance to witness it unfurl its glory on the big screen.
Charan Raj is the star of everything that he puts his hands on. A man of few words but a million notes, he delivers the perfect knockout in the teaser. While the others take you to the era, Charan makes you stay in it.
Costumes by Inchara Suresh deserve a special mention. They take the audience to the era of well-dressed men, bell-bottom pants, sharp suits, and the embellished long capes of the villains.
Touted to be one of the biggest projects of this year, 666 Operation Dream Theatre is directed by Hemanth M Rao and produced by Vaishak J Gowda under his banner, Vaishak J Films. Music is composed by Charan Raj, cinematography is by Advaitha Gurumurthy, production design is helmed by Vishwas Kashyap, and costumes are by Inchara Suresh.
At The Teaser Launch, Dr. Shiva Rajkumar: “Even legendary actors need a guru, and directors play that role in all our lives. Dhananjaya is an actor par excellence, who looks great on screen. I’ve always felt that he deserves greater success. This film is special to me. Dr. Vaishak, my producer, I’ve seen him since he was a child, and to see him become my producer is such a nice feeling. Hemanth Rao is today’s generation’s Puttanna Kanagal, Panthulu, K. Balachander, and Bharathiraja. His way of conceiving a story is on par with all of these legends.”
Director Hemanth M Rao said, “I had to face a lot of obstacles to find a producer for my first film, Godhi Banna Sadharana Mykattu. After 10 years of a film journey, to find a wonderful producer like Vaishak J Gowda is truly special. Doctors and teachers, and their professions, have a lot to do with adding value to the world. Our profession is a field of obsession. I strongly believe that art is important. Cinema is a field that mixes all of the other fields like arts and commerce, and is an amalgamation of so many art forms. I have a huge family behind me to make this film. I’ve always said we need an entire village to make a film. The biggest strength we have behind us is Shivanna. He has seen the pinnacle of success, yet retains a childlike curiosity towards his craft. It is an electrifying experience to be with him on the sets. Dhananjaya, Priyanka, and Aditi are a fantastic set of actors. The film is packed with terrific performers.”
Speaking at the event, producer Vaishak J Gowda said, “I have been a huge fan of cinema since the age of 11, especially a huge fan of Shivanna. I’ve grown up watching his movies, and he’s a great inspiration. The Kannada film industry has had a glorious journey of 92 years, and it has been possible with every rupee that the audience has paid from their pockets. I am forever grateful to the audience and would only request them to grace the theatres with their presence for 666 Operation Dream Theatre. It will be worth their time and money.”

When I was talking to a couple of friends about wanting to be a part of Hemanth’s project, a week later I got a message from Hemanth. It feels like the divine spirit of the artwork itself held him back in the Kannada film industry to give someone like me, who’s always hungry for better characters, a chance to play Agent Shankar. I’ve been a huge fan of both Aditi Balan and Priyanka Mohan. They are tremendously talented performers. To be a part of Hemanth’s project is like becoming a student of cinema; you get to learn every day. Shivanna is a live example of keeping the child in you alive. There’s no bigger person than Shivanna to show you how it’s done. The teaser is just a small glimpse into our world. The film will have many more surprises.”
Addressing the media, Priyanka Mohan said, “I was waiting for a good opportunity, and thank God I got this project. I’ve worked with Shivanna sir in Captain Miller. Aditi and I have acted in three movies together. She’s a terrific performer. The visuals look brilliant on the big screen, and Advaith deserves all the praise. I’ve always been a huge fan of Charan Raj’s music and am waiting to see what he’s pulled off in the film.”
Advaitha Gurumurthy said, “This is my 19th film, and every technician from my generation harbours the dream of working with Shivanna. I thank Vaishak and Hemanth for making this dream come true. Priyanka, when she joined us on the sets, floored Hemanth and me with her performance. We were awestruck by her range. Aditi is more of a friend and confidante on set, and she delivers a stellar performance every time. To see the final output of the teaser today felt awesome.”
Vishwas Kashyap, the production designer, said, “We’ve built over 20 sets in the film, each bigger than the other. Everything on the set is thoroughly brainstormed, and what you’re seeing is the result of all the hard work of the entire team.”
Charan Raj said, “I always take pride in the fact that I am a part of Hemanth Rao and team. To work with Shivanna and Dhananjaya sir again is such a pleasure. I consider myself extremely fortunate to be working on this project.”

ప్రేక్షకులు ఆసక్తిగా ఎదురుచూస్తున్న ‘666 ఆపరేషన్ డ్రీమ్ థియేటర్’ టీమ్… మీడియాకు టీజర్ని ప్రదర్శించింది. ఈ కార్యక్రమంలో సినిమాలో నటించిన ఇతర నటీనటులతో పాటు డా. శివరాజ్కుమార్, డాలీ ధనంజయ, ప్రియాంక మోహన్, అదితి బాలన్, దర్శకుడు హేమంత్ ఎం.రావు, నిర్మాత వైశాక్ జె గౌడ, ఛాయాగ్రాహకుడు అద్వైత గురుమూర్తి, సంగీత దర్శకుడు చరణ్ రాజ్, ప్రొడక్షన్ డిజైనర్ విశ్వాస్ కశ్యప్ పాల్గొన్నారు.
టీజర్లో ‘666 ఆపరేషన్ డ్రీమ్ థియేటర్’ మూవీ వరల్డ్ ని అద్భుతంగా చూపించారు. చిత్రాన్ని స్పై డ్రామాగా తెరకెక్కించారు. లెజెండరీ డా.రాజ్కుమార్ ‘సీఐడీ999’ని గుర్తుచేస్తూ, నివాళులర్పించేలా ఉంది టీజర్. సినిమా జరిగే సమయం, మిషన్, అనుభవం ఉన్న ఏజెంట్, వృద్ధిలోకి రావాలనుకుంటున్న ఏజెంట్, మాస్క్ మేన్, వాళ్ల కళ్లుగప్పే చెడ్డ వ్యక్తి, అందమైన తల్లి కథ.. ఆఖరిలో ధనంజయ ఇచ్చే ట్విస్టు.. టీజర్లో ప్రతిదీ ఆకట్టుకుంటోంది.
డా. శివరాజ్కుమార్ ఇందులో ఏజెంట్ ప్రకాష్గా కనిపించారు. స్క్రీన్ మీద ఫైర్ పుట్టించే ఆయన ప్రెజెన్స్ హైలైట్. అందులోనూ ఏజెంట్కి ఉండాల్సిన మోస్ట్ డేంజరస్ వెపన్ దృష్టి. శివరాజ్కుమార్ కళ్లు పర్ఫెక్ట్ గా అందుకు సూట్ అయ్యాయి. టీజర్ ఆఖరిలో ధనంజయను చూసే వరకు, ఆయన పనిలో ఎదుర్కొనే సవాళ్లు మెప్పిస్తాయి.
ప్రేక్షకుల్లో ఆసక్తి రేకెత్తించడానికి కావాల్సినన్ని విశేషాలున్నాయి టీజర్లో. అద్వైత గురుమూర్తి, విశ్వాస్ కశ్యప్ సెటప్ చేసిన వరల్డ్ కనువిందుగా ఉంది. ఊహల నుంచి విజువల్స్ దాకా విశ్వాస్ పనితీరును ప్రశంసించాల్సిందే. ఏ ఒక్క ఫ్రేమ్లోనూ సినిమా కోసం తీర్చిదిద్దారనే భావన కలగనివ్వలేదంటే, పనితీరు ఎంత బావుందో అర్థం చేసుకోవచ్చు.
కథను విజువల్ పెయింటింగ్గా తీర్చిదిద్దారు అద్వైత గురుమూర్తి. గతాన్ని స్క్రీన్స్ మీదకు తీసుకురావడంలో ఆయన కృషి అభినందనీయం. హృద్యమైన కవిత్వాన్ని తెరమీద చూసినంత అందంగా తీర్చిదిద్దారు. ఆయన లైటింగ్ చేసిన విధానం, కెమెరా పనితీరు, ప్రతిదీ టీజర్లో రిఫ్లెక్ట్ అవుతూనే ఉంది.
ప్రతి ఫ్రేమ్లోనూ తన దర్శకత్వ ప్రతిభను చూపించారు హేమంత్ రావు. నటీనటుల నుంచి, టెక్నీషియన్ల నుంచి అత్యంత గొప్ప ప్రతిభను రాబట్టుకున్నారు. ఊహలకు అందని ప్రపంచాన్ని నిర్దిష్టంగా, నిజాయతీగా తెరకెక్కించడంలో సామర్థ్యాన్ని కనబరచడంలోనే సినిమా పట్ల ఆయనకున్న ప్రేమ ఎలాంటిదో వ్యక్తమవుతుంది. వింటేజ్ సినిమా గురించి వినడమే గానీ, ఇప్పటిదాకా చూడని వారికి… ఈ సినిమాను ఎక్స్ పీరియన్స్ చేయడం ప్రత్యేక అనుభూతిని మిగుల్చుతుంది..
చరణ్ రాజ్ గురించి ప్రత్యేకంగా చెప్పక్కర్లేదు. ఆయన స్వరాలు మిలియన్ నోట్స్ ని వ్యక్తం చేస్తుంటాయి. టీజర్లో ఆ విషయం మరోసారి స్పష్టమైంది. మిగిలిన సాంకేతిక నిపుణులందరూ ఓ టైమ్లోకి తీసుకెళ్తే, మనల్ని అందులో ఉండేలా చేస్తుంది చరణ్రాజ్ సంగీతం.
కాస్ట్యూమ్స్ ఇన్ఛార్జి ఇంచరణ సురేష్ గురించి కూడా ప్రత్యేకంగా మాట్లాడుకోవాలి. అత్యుత్తమ వస్త్రధారణ కలిగిన వ్యక్తులను ఈ సినిమాలో చూపించారు. బెల్ బాటమ్ ప్యాంట్లను, షార్ప్ షూట్స్ ని, విలన్ల వస్త్రధారణను గొప్పగా తీర్చిదిద్దారు సురేష్.
ఈ ఏడాది విడుదలవుతున్న అత్యంత ప్రతిష్టాత్మక చిత్రాల్లో ‘666 ఆపరేషన్ డ్రీమ్ థియేటర్’కి ప్రత్యేక స్థానం ఉంది. ఈ సినిమాను హేమంత్ ఎం రావు డైరక్ట్ చేశారు. వైశాఖ్ జె గౌడ నిర్మించారు. వైశాఖ్ జె ఫిల్మ్స్ పతాకంపై తెరకెక్కింది. చరణ్ రాజ్ సంగీతం అందించారు. అద్వైత్ గురుమూర్తి ఛాయాగ్రాహకుడిగా పనిచేశారు. విశ్వాస్ కశ్యప్ ఈ సినిమాకు ప్రొడక్షన్ డిజైనర్గా వ్యవహరించారు. సురేష్ కాస్ట్యూమ్స్ ఇన్ఛార్జ్ గా పనిచేశారు.
టీజర్ విడుదల కార్యక్రమంలో దర్శకుడు హేమంత్ ఎం.రావు మాట్లాడుతూ ”నా తొలి చిత్రం ‘గోది బన్నా సాధారణ మైకట్టు’కి నిర్మాతను వెతుక్కోవడానికి నేనెంతో కష్టపడ్డాను. పదేళ్ల సినిమా జర్నీలో నాకు వైశాఖ్ జె గౌడలాంటి గొప్ప నిర్మాత దొరికారు. ఈయన నాకు చాలా ప్రత్యేకమైన వ్యక్తి. ఈ ప్రపంచానికి డాక్టర్లు, టీచర్లు ఎంతో సేవ చేస్తారు. కానీ సినిమా రంగంలో పనిచేయాలంటే ఒకరకమైన ఉత్సాహం కావాలి. కళ అనేది మనుగడకి అత్యంత కీలకమైంది. కళను, వ్యాపారాన్ని చక్కగా మిళితం చేస్తుంది సినిమా. ఎన్నో కళాత్మక రూపాల సమ్మేళనం సినిమా. ఈ సినిమాను తెరకెక్కించడానికి ఎంతో మంది సహకరించారు. ఓ సినిమాను తెరకెక్కించాలంటే ఓ గ్రామంలో ఉన్నంత మంది కావాలంటాను. ఈ సినిమాను రూపొందించడంలో మాకు అత్యంత పెద్ద సపోర్ట్ శివన్న. ఘననీయమైన విజయాలను సొంతం చేసుకున్నా, ఇప్పటికీ తన రంగం పట్ల శివన్న చూపించే ఆసక్తి చాలా బావుంటుంది. ఆయనతో సెట్లో ఉన్న క్షణాలను అంత తేలిగ్గా మర్చిపోలేం. ధనంజయ, ప్రియాంక, అదితి చాలా బాగా నటించారు. ఈ సినిమాలో అత్యద్భుతమైన నటులందరూ ఉన్నారు” అని చెప్పారు.
నిర్మాత వైశాఖ్ జె గౌడ మాట్లాడుతూ ”పదకొండేళ్లప్పటి నుంచి నేను సినిమాలకు పెద్ద ఫ్యాన్ని. మరీ ముఖ్యంగా శివన్నకు వీరాభిమానిని. ఆయన సినిమాలు చూస్తూ పెరిగాను. నాకు అత్యంత స్ఫూర్తిని పంచిన హీరో. కన్నడ సినిమా ఇండస్ట్రీకి 92 ఏళ్ల సుదీర్ఘ ప్రయాణం ఉంది. ప్రేక్షకులు పెట్టే ప్రతి పైసాతో సినిమా మనుగడ సాగుతోంది. అందుకే ప్రేక్షకులకు ఎప్పుడూ రుణపడి ఉంటాను. మా ‘666 ఆపరేషన్ డ్రీమ్ థియేటర్’ సినిమాను థియేటర్లలోనే చూడాలని కోరుతున్నాను. పైసా వసూల్ సినిమా అని పక్కాగా చెబుతున్నాను” అని అన్నారు.
డా. శివరాజ్కుమార్ మాట్లాడుతూ ”ప్రతి లెజండరీ యాక్టర్కీ ఓ గురువుండాలి. దర్శకులు అలాంటి పాత్రనే పోషిస్తుంటారు. ధనంజయ మంచి ప్రతిభావంతుడు. స్క్రీన్ మీద అద్భుతంగా కనిపించాడు. తనకి మరిన్ని విజయాలు సొంతం కావాలి. ఈ సినిమా నాకు చాలా స్పెషల్. మా నిర్మాత డా. వైశాఖ్ని, అతని చిన్నతనం నుంచి చూస్తూనే ఉన్నా. తను పెిగి పెద్దయి నా చిత్రాన్ని నిర్మించడం ఆనందంగా ఉంది. ఆ జనరేషన్కి పుట్టన్న కనగళ్, పంతులు, కె.బాలచందర్, భారతిరాజా ఎలాగో, ఈ జనరేషన్కి హేమంత్ రావు అలాంటి వ్యక్తి. కథను ఇతను తెరకెక్కించే విధానం.. ఆ లెజెండ్స్ కి ఏమాత్రం తీసిపోదు” అని అన్నారు.
ధనంజయ మాట్లాడుతూ ”హేమంత్రావుని, అలాంటి వ్యక్తుల పనితీరును చూసినప్పుడు, గెలిచి తీరాలన్న కసి ఎప్పుడూ కనిపిస్తూ ఉంటుంది. హేమంత్ ప్రాజెక్టులో పనిచేయాలని ఉందని కొందరు స్నేహితులతో ప్రస్తావించాను. ఓ వారంలో నాకు హేమంత్ నుంచి మెసేజ్ వచ్చింది. అత్యద్భుతమైన కేరక్టర్ల కోసం నిరంతరం అన్వేషించే నాలాంటి వాళ్ల కోసమే అతను మళ్లీ కన్నడ ఇండస్ట్రీలోకి వచ్చారనిపించింది. ఈ సినిమాలో నేను చేసిన ఏజెంట్ శంకర్ పాత్ర అంత గొప్పగా ఉంటుంది. అదితి బాలన్కి, ప్రియాంక మోహన్కీ నేను పెద్ద ఫ్యాన్ని. హేమంత్ ప్రాజెక్ట్ లో భాగస్వామ్యం కావడం అంటే సినిమాల్లో మళ్లీ విద్యార్థిగా మారడమేనని అర్థమైంది. ప్రతి రోజూ నేర్చుకోవడానికి ఏదో ఒక విషయం ఉంటూనే ఉంటుంది. ఎంత ఎదిగినా మనలో పసితనం ఉండాలనడానికి శివన్న బెస్ట్ ఎగ్జాంపుల్. ఈ విషయంలో ఆయన్ని మించిన వారు లేరు. మా సినిమా ప్రపంచంలోకి మిమ్మల్ని ఆహ్వానించడానికి ఈ టీజర్ జస్ట్ చిన్న గ్లింప్స్ మాత్రమే. సినిమాలో చాలా సర్ప్రైజ్లున్నాయి” అని అన్నారు.
ప్రియాంక మోహన్ మాట్లాడుతూ ”మంచి అవకాశం కోసం ఎదురుచూస్తున్న సమయంలో, ఈ ప్రాజెక్ట్ వచ్చింది. భగవంతుడికి ధన్యవాదాలు. ‘కెప్టెన్ మిల్లర్’లో శివన్నతో కలిసి పనిచేశారు. నేను, అదితి కలిసి మూడు సినిమాలు చేశాం. ఆమె నటన టెర్రిఫిక్గా ఉంటుంది. స్క్రీన్ మీద విజువల్స్ చాలా బాగా వచ్చాయి. అద్వైత్ని ప్రశంసించి తీరాల్సిందే. చరణ్ రాజ్ మ్యూజిక్ అంటే నాకు చాలా ఇష్టం. ఈ సినిమాకు ఎలాంటి బీట్స్ ఇచ్చారో చూడ్డానికి ఉవ్విళ్లూరుతున్నాను” అని అన్నారు.
అద్వైత గురుమూర్తి మాట్లాడుతూ ”ఇది నేను చేస్తు్న్న 19వ సినిమా. శివన్నతో పనిచేయాలని మా తరంలో ప్రతి ఒక్కరం కలలు కంటుంటాం. నా కలను నిజం చేసిన వైశాఖ్, హేమంత్కి ప్రత్యేకమైన ధన్యవాదాలు. ప్రియాంక సెట్లో మాతో జాయిన్ అయినప్పుడు చాలా ఆనందమేసింది. ఆమె పెర్ఫార్మెన్స్ తో అదరగొట్టింది. అదితి సెట్లో అత్యంత కాన్ఫిడెంట్గా కనిపించేది. స్టెల్లార్ పెర్ఫార్మెన్స్ ఇచ్చింది. ఇవాళ టీజర్లో ఔట్పుట్ చూస్తుంటే సంతోషంగా ఉంది” అని చెప్పారు.
ప్రొడక్షన్ డిజైనర్ విశ్వాస్ కశ్యప్ మాట్లాడుతూ ”ఈ సినిమా కోసం 20 సెట్లు వేశాం. ఒకదాన్ని మించి మరొకటి ఉంటుంది. స్క్రీన్ మీద కనిపించే ప్రతి విషయం గురించి మేం ఒకటికి పదిసార్లు ఆలోచించి, సమిష్టిగా నిర్ణయం తీసుకున్ని చేశాం” అని అన్నారు.
చరణ్ రాజ్ మాట్లాడుతూ ”హేమంత్ రావుతోనూ, ఆయన టీమ్తోనూ కలిసి పనిచేయడం గర్వంగా ఉంటుంది. శివన్న, ధనంజయ సార్తో పనిచేయడం అత్యంత ఆనందంగా ఉంది. ఈ సినిమాలో పనిచేయడం అత్యంత అదృష్టంగా భావిస్తున్నాను” అని అన్నారు.
