The makers of Raakaasaa have officially announced that the film will release in theatres worldwide on April 3, 2026. Presented by Z Studios and produced under the banners of Pink Elephant Pictures, the film is written and directed by Manasa Sharma, with Niharika Konidela and Umesh Kumar Bansal serving as producers.
The release date announcement marks a significant milestone for the project, which has now completed its entire shoot and is currently in post-production. With principal photography fully wrapped, the team is focused on finalising the film’s edit, music, sound design, and overall visual treatment, aligning the post-production process toward its planned theatrical release in 3rd April 2026.
The release date was unveiled alongside a new poster, which reflects the film’s imaginative tone and genre positioning. Complementing this, the teaser—released earlier on YouTube—offered audiences their first glimpse into the world of Raakaasaa. Rather than revealing narrative specifics, the teaser established the film’s tonal space, blending humour, fantasy elements, and moments of tension, setting expectations for a theatrical experience designed for the big screen.
Since its announcement, Raakaasaa has generated steady interest within the Telugu film fraternity, driven by its genre blend and measured promotional approach. The makers opted for a gradual reveal strategy, allowing anticipation to build organically through selective updates.
